The only negative thing, to me, is that despite being a name with double meaning, The Big Mash-Up kinda shouts sampling/ripping/mash-up of other artists work.
Though, that's not different to what Scooter have done all the time.
Yes, I also thought the same. But who could really expect something else from Scooter? Another reason I like the title is because they finally "admit" it clearly on the album, that "yeah, you will find a bunch of ripped off tracks blended in to the Scooter style on this album". They have always done it, and I don't think they've been trying to hide it either (they admitted it in lot's of interviews), they just don't focus so much on it. The album title in a way says: "Yeah, we're ripping and mashing up and we're proud of it, that's what makes us unique". Kind of "in your face" to all haters. In that sense i like the title.

Of course, all of this is just preassumptions by me, maybe they mean something else entirely with this title, but most likely: it has several meanings. In that case, the title is good, even though it might sound simple.

A bit like WGTLLN was an "in your face" kinda title. And ofc the tour logo...remember the finger?

All Scooter albums are big mash ups, what's the point in naming an album like that now.. Probably they give credits to all the ripped guys this time. Like an outing: Yes we're ripping from others. And we're not hiding it. :D

Precisely...every album is full of big mash ups. Although if it means a mashup of styles then it's good, as we're due another experimental album.
We started in 1994....in 2012 we're still on the case!!!

Like the quoted lyrical parts tell, Scooter never really have hidden the fact that they make sort of mashups....and also in the RSP interview this year Rick was very open about the fact that they " use " parts from others.

This title is a real bombarding message :D It shows once again that they work that way, and don't hide that. And well, it's also a sort of reaction on Technoboy's digital statement :D One has to feel strong to do like Scooter do with this messages, it's shows who's in the lead :D
H.P.'s "The Voice" - "The Myth" > He stands out all above the rest, blonder than the best! :D

Well, in my eyes scooters, at least H.P.'s, behaviour is arrogant and very respectless. I have no problem with the fact they cover and rip other tracks but i DO have a problem with the fact that they swank with this kind of music production infront of all the artists they rip and cover. You know, its one thing to cover and rip tracks from others but its another thing when they say: F#ck up, we dont care about ripping your tracks, we are proud of it, we love to take your ideas and make money with it.
I am shocked peoples on this forum are happy about the hidden messages like "the big mash up". Imagine you have some really great ideas and some peoples take your ideas, make money with it and SWANK WITH IT! This is respectless, arrogant, ruthless and more important: morally f###ed up!

Welcome to Earth, as I use to say. There is still a jungle out there and you have to live with it unless you are lucky enough to be surrounded with reasonable, sane and not self-destructive people. Unfortunately they are not in the majority.

....... techno music, better than the fu.king sh!t is played on radio.

That´s quite interesting, isn´t it, seeing that obviously a lot of people prefer listen to techno/electro/house rather than R&B.
