well progressive was mentioned for the new album, and progressive can be any style, it could well be a mix of styles, which would make me and many fans happy as the experiement albums are the favourites

i reckon the only one will be released soon, with scooters release policy these days and the inferno coming up it would go perfect
i could imagine a scooter single with a sticker on the front about the inferno, as a last effort to fill the stadium, it would be the best way for scooter to add the final bit of promo

I think TOO sucked so they decided not to release it until it's been through the studio a few more times..
Whenever people agree with me I always feel I must be wrong.

I don't think it sucked. I guess they wanted a clear divide between their classical happy hardcore style ("Friends Turbo") and their forthcoming new style-single. Releasing them as a double-A-side could have shrinked the public attention for each single song and so each song would only receive half the attention as if it was released as "single-A-side". They had a double-A-side-release with "I was made for loving you" and "We are the greatest" and it wasn't that successful, those tracks are even quite unknown to non-Scooter fans.
Releasing both tracks seperately is maybe a sign for the good quality of "TOO". When I heard about the double-A-side-plans, I thought: "Oh, maybe they are not sure if the new style will reach the fans, so they put a remake of a classical track on the Maxi CD."

I think it will come -- it's not like they're promoting the new album with Friends Turbo. I believe TOO will be a great track, and it should be ready, too. I'm certain TOO is the massive track they talked about finishing. I'm glad they didn't release double A, it would've been a disaster with Friends Turbo. I don't know when TOO will be out, maybe June -- I too start to think it might have its first play at Inferno.

I also think the dnb mix on the single was a bit of a hint... I hope...

Good points Mr. Hyper ;) Now atleast people won't mix up the tracks, and none of the 2 tracks will get forgotten, and people won't expect the wrong sound of the forthcomming album, because I'm sure the FT sound is not the albums sound, although the DnB mix could be, as I wrote before, and now I see more people consider the DnB mix a sort of hint :)

For now, I have a feeling that TOO will be premiered at The Dome 58 at June 1st.

Would sound very plausible, yes ;) It would give FT around 6 weeks for it's own succes and than TOO could take it over in the charts around June :)

Ah yes, I forgot the Dome! It's about time they played a new track there for the first time again, the Dome stage is optimal for those. I think the changes are good this time (then to our disappointment, they will come on the stage with Friends Turbo and the guys from the movie will dance to the tune).

Actually the chances that Scooter would play FT on The Dome are quite big, when the movie will be as succesful in Germany as it was in Holland, I think The Dome will demand Scooter to play FT ;) But they could always do 2 songs, like some other artists on The Dome ;)

Just as I said (thought).... Releasing The Only One would be way too early, considering the album comes out in August..... this is the most logical way.... FT first, so the people can warm up, and couple months later....we got ourselves the first single..... :D

I still think it's not too early. Look at The Question and JAOTW - 3,5 months. Although I know that probably was to test the jumpstyle sound.
Maybe they plan a 2nd single before the album.

I think a possible The Dome appearance should go in advantage of TOO, as the new massive single they have made.
Or at least both FT and TOO.

Maybe noone has noticed, but the Dome changed a lot with the 57th event.
It looks like everything is a lot smaller now, the venue in Bremen couldn't even fit 2.000 people.
And the TV ratings on RTL II are not good. I think this is the end of the Dome.
I have my doubts if they are still around next year.

It would be really a pity if the last huge music show would die :( It's one of the few still left, so it seems soon we can say goodbye to big spectacles on TV. Strange really, do people not want to see musicians on stage anymore ? :S

could well be, im exited if it is, dnb was one if my first music styles i liked before dance, and years later after becoming a fan and hearing albums like wicked, helped me re kindle my love for dnb. it would be wicked

I still think it's not too early. Look at The Question and JAOTW - 3,5 months.

In Germany we had the release of "And no matches" one or two weeks before the release of JAOTW. So "ANM" was another promotion single before the album release. The same is possible for TOO.
