Love is an Ocean

Quite the nice track. Incomparable to the closing tracks from previous albums, but
comapred to the rest of TUAO, this is diamond stuff.

as you say, it is TUAO's better tracks, but as you say, i do prefer some of scooters older trance tracks
the problem with the 4th chapter is there isnt enough trance and instrumental tracks to compare it too,

but what would you say is better

love is an oceon or metropolis

i cant split them, they both have good and bad parts
if LIAO had better quality it would have been the better one
if M had a better trance break after the opera part than M would have been better hands down

but as they are, the equal

'Love is an Ocean' is a nice instrumental trance song, but I prefer more 'Firth of Clyde'.

Scooter has many nice instrumentals and Rick is indeed one of the masters especially when it comes to mixing break-down parts and heavy hardcore.

It certainly is one of the nicest closing trance instrumentals. I'm wondering if it's entirely original though. Obviously the name and vocal sample is taken from that RMB song, but I can't hear any other similiarities.

It's a shame that Scooter have resorted to stealing melodies for even these instrumentals like in Lighten Up The Sky (the new version just repeats that Dave 202 Torrent melody over and over) and Metropolis with its sample of In Silence, and I know the beginning samples something I've heard before I just cant put my finger on it. Of course this isn't entirely new because Scooter ripped melodies from both Trance pieces on Mind The Gap. I just hope this isn't a new trend. The trance closers should be sacred.

The original track where the sample is ripped: Sheila Candra - Ever so Lonely. Nice track if you ask me. Then RMB came with their version which is one of the best Dance tunes of the 90s. :)

Scooter- "Love Is An Ocean" has always had a certain RATTY vibe for me, like if it was based on a new RATTY track that has never been released, and therefor it was "released" as a SCOOTER track. How about you ?
