Dubstep is SH*T

I don't really have a point here. Just thought I'd state my opinion on this horrible sub genre of dance music. Sounds like a retarded combination of breakbeat and jungle. Worst kind of dance music there is.

And I swear to god, Scooter had better not be making their new album in dubstep...

And one more thing. For people who think dubstep is "new". It is not. It dates back to the late 90's and early 2000's.

Dubstep sucks hardcore ass. That is all.

I think Gabber sounds like sh-t. Others would probably disagree.

I also don't like gabber lol. Just distorted noise with mostly violent lyrics.

All the genres in the world that dont include guitar on regular basis suck.

Couldn't agree more.

I was quite baffled when LIGHTS confessed her dying love for it all over twitter a while back. And I hear she's been in touch with Deadmau5 over some sort of collaboration to take place in the future. I just hope her new record isn't contaminated with any of it. It's just insufferable noise.

So you're admitting your music sucks.

Also how can you say all the classical, dance, synth-pop and jazz as well as many other genres, suck.

There are different types of dubstep. There's this new "craze" about this whole genre, which is mainly hip-hop grooves combined with sharp LFO-controlled filtered synth sounds... you know: tschk-boom-wahwahwah-tschk-boom-wahhhwahhh-zzz - something like that. I don't like it either.

But! there is a kind of dubstep which is much more art-like, however it's really underground, and only a few artists can do it properly. These tracks focus on the sound experience instead of being catchy pop music with slow broken grooves.
You should check out Endah, that's some proper stuff I like :) but again, it's NOT really party-music.

Yeah, dubstep's not that bad, it's pretty good (like anything probably) if done by a good maker. I too would rather hear that than hardstyle or trance. And I don't care about gabber, but I do like actual harsh noise 'music'. (The two are obviously very different.)
 This is a signature.

That's exactly what I'm talking about. Can't STAND it. Lucky I'm the boss at my work so when some teeny bopper (chav) goes and puts it on, I am able to go and rip it out and say "I don't think so". Lol.

The main reason I hate it is because when the break finishes in a normal techno/dance song the bass kicks in and it's at full force. When the main part of a dubstep song kicks in it doesn't seem very powerful and I feel like it's leading up to something more but it doesn't. If you get me? Haha.

Just seems like a passing phase to me being that it's now popular amongst youths around here. And if it originates from the beginning of the 21st century or whatever, it's sadly gotten a much unwelcome revival 8-9 years later. Me thinks it'll pass soon enough. I don't even know how it even passes for music. It's about as listenable as this piece of garbage -
