A friend said, that it was a great concert, the band was in a good mood, the atmosphere during the concert was amazing. Because of a few aggressive police-known people, they had to stop the concert.
The vids from the Jumpers are cool, I like these small gigs!
BTW, it isn't a boring pop concert, a Scooter concert is full of energy, spirit, burning atmosphere..

Heh. Guess you've never been to a Scooter concert outside Germany :)

When I came to Stuttgart last year, it was easy as hell. Everyone is unaggressive and polite. The difference is huge, believe me. Being full of energy and staying positive is a big difference between being drunk as sh1t and not having a clue where you are and what you are doing.

Absolutely the worst show I have ever been in my life. And i've been to many concerts.. ( not only Scooter )

I heard reviews from non-Finnish people about concerts of ANY type in Finland and 99.9% of them said, that drunkin Finnish people are animals. Well, I had to see it to believe it. I was thinking of leaving the concert after 2 or 3 songs.

Absolutely awful the way people act. Fights were everywhere, broken glasses etc. I knew it would be not as good as an open-air, which i'm more used to, but I never imagined this.

I'll think twice now about going to Linkin Park in Helsinki in june...

HP was sh1t also. He was quite drunk IMO.
I'm sorry for you, i know this things, i experienced this 2 years ago in Budapest. Same story but without Police: a lot of drunk idiots hitting everyone, it wasn't so fun  But it's not too much to say that HP was drunk too? I can't imagine HP singing drunk....

It seems that German concerts are the best and safest in that case. I've never experienced really something bad there, although there sometimes are alos drunks. But from all your stories here, it really seems that Germany is the best and safest place to see Scooter. A pity that people in some country's can't behave :S

I went to Praha in 2008 and I hadn't any particular problems, so many things to consider, you just have not to be in the wrong place with the wrong neighbours at the wrong time...
Some conditions like this weekend in Finland really helps to have this kind of problems...

Drunk H.P., police & riots, and 1,000 people with tickets not being able to make their way in... :S not a good concert. I feel that someone must do something about this promoter, it's not fair to sell those tickets.

It's not fair to spread such rumours, a few friends said, HP was in a great (not-drunken) mood, btw you can see it on the vids from the Jumpers.

I don't think he was drunk at all. Watch the videos, people. I've watched several videos of the concert and to me he seems just as usual and did everything just as professionally as ever. I think it's wrong to say he was drunk...

Edit: I love the way this gig looks, especially from behind the stage, the place is so crowded and the arena is so small. :D
 This is a signature.

I was in the clubgig in Finland. I didn't think there were problems with alcohol, not amongst fans or the band. It's just a case of poor management that the evening was ruined.
The club was overbooked. It had two floors, scooter performed on the second, which only could have 1500 poeple in it. Unfortunately they had sold 2700 tickets.
Of course everyone wanted to see Scooter but the place was packed full.

The staircase to the second floor took me 40 minutes to climb up. The band simply had too many fans here to fit that small place.
Sure, few fans tried to climb the stairs in a less than safe manner and I think one girl got her shoulder dislocated in that tightpacked crowd.
The organisers had to call for police because they simply couldn't handle the crowd wanting to see the band and trying to get up the stairs. It could've turned ugly.
Police then asked Scooter to stop for ten minutes, they cleared the staircase and unfortunately had to tell the rest of the people still waiting outside and on the first floor that they wouldn't let anyone up anymore. Then Scooter returned and finished the gig. The outcry was because all those people had paid good money for the tickets and couldn't even get in. Suprisingly there was no fighting going on nor any actual 'rioting'.
Half an hour after Scooter finished, we left the place as well. There was only few people around anymore.

To those who managed to get close the stage, it was a good night. For the rest of us, it sucked. Scooter was down in a pit and no one could see them from the back. People tried standing on few tables and couches or then they were ordered to leave all together. The club was an idiotic place to have the band. It just didn't work on any level. Maybe it could've if they had sold only the right amount of tickets...

So its just a problem with the venue, that place needs to be sorted out...

Very sad to read about the happenings in this night. The good thing is we know Scooter has lots of fans in finland.
Honestly I never thought about dangers during big gigs. But after the love parade drama and the big problem in Helsinki I am happy all scooter concerts went well so far. Hope the Techno Inferno in June 25 will be as good managed as the JAOTW & UTROTT gig in Hamburg in 2008 and 2010.

I agree 100% - although I have enjoyed all of the concerts I have been to I have found the audience and security at the ones in Germany to be the best; of course there will always be some drunks the audiences in Germany are by far the best :) I have also found that the trouble with drunks is worse if a concert is on later, Scooter usually are not very late performing in Germany :)

Really bad with the problems :( but the good side is that we know Scooter has alot of Finnish fans, like TFD said.
