I have no clue...I also wanted to know it, but it seems to be in Chinese or so, so there's no chance to find even the lyrics of it, by searching for a part of the lyrics one understands. I'm curious too, maybe someone here can help, but I doubt that ;)

I thought it was German. :D But I can't understand it at all, opera voices are impossible for me to decipher...

That's true, even opera voices in ones own language aren't understandable ;)

I think they should give us all the lyrical info in the booklets. there are more tracks from which we don't know the exactly lyrics. and I don't mean they should write 'yeah, come on or yes' when HP says it cause everyone can understand that. but they didn't gave us the third part of the leading horse. there's also one sentence in posse that isn't written anywhere...

Speaking about Metropolis, do you think they know what the voice say? I think it's taken from another song and HP himself doesn't know the lyrics.

I think they know the lyrics cause they know from which classical/opera song they took it, and than it's not that difficult to known the original lyrics. and there's always jens with enough connections to find out the lyrics...

Exactly, I'm sure they know the lyrics of choruses they use for their tracks. That without a doubt ;) It shouldn't be that hard to write down these lyrics in the booklet...but well, it seems to be too hard for them somehow ?( ... I would really like to know what it's about, but I guess no one will ever find it out, unless by some coincindence someone bumps onto the original track the chorus was taken from ;)

well there are classical radiostations enough in the world. maybe if someone who isn't as lazy as me, can write an email with the link of the track to such radiostation. i'm pretty sure someone outthere will know it. or just ask scooter ;)

I've always thought this track as something Rick might have thought of, the female voice. It's obviously sampled from an opera, and perhaps something famous that someone into this stuff would recognize instantly. I keep imagining Rick listening to some classical and opera in his home and noticing this, thinking that it would fit a song -- it doesn't have to be from HP, even if most ideas probably come from him.

i can think of 3 things,

1-random singing to make it sound like opera, there is no credits for this song
2-it has been reversed, or is truly in a different language
3-they found an opera song they liked and sampled it, i dont know about you lot, but most opera songs are unknown to me, i have no clue to what they say, and i know a lot of them are in different language, kinda like ti sento

Maybe we should look at some opera song with the world "Metropolis" in the title. Scooter more often used part of a title of a covered song as own title. Or atleast Scooters title had some connection with the original title of the covered part. For example when Scooter covered the Amphetamine melody in a song they called it Remedy. And Amphetamine might be some remedy to some so to speak ;) Maybe we should look that way at Metropolis....but than it might not help at all :S
