Hey! Its time for some nominations!

Okay isnt it time for the Forum Awards of 2010?
As Im very good with ideas, but I suck at execution,
I suggest that someone uses this topic to actually
organize such an event, okay?

Cool!

PS: Vote me for best producer, funniest guy and best looks, please.

I can do it if you want, but that should take a week at least. Then I post the compo and the results will be announced on x-mas.
Is that alright with you? :)

what are we waiting for? start the voting, guys.
Riding with me is my friend R.J.Jordan,
Knowing the rules aint part of his program,
Finding the right tune that fits the track,
Might be pretty hard cuz he's f_cked on crack!

Start the match and find the station
Reach what you can and party the nation,
A? Hey! Whatcha gonna say?
I automate the sequence and speed for my getaway
Take it to the edge, there's nowhere to hide,
And call up the crew; let's go for a joyride!

Let's go for a joyride!

I suppose someone could open up a thread with all the Categories then do a nominations round by private message. The post the categories with the nominees. Then maybe do a poll for each or people PM their votes?

Read Imre's post again. He is going to do it in a new topic in a week from now.

Have you checked out the 2009 forum awards stickied in the USER TOPICS?

Once the categories are up, we nominate users in the appropriate category to Imre via PM. Once everythings been counted up and everything, the winners will be announced along with the runners up. At least that's how Will did it last year.

I hope a couple of the categories are reused this time round-- alongside some fresh ones.

And I wonder what prizes are in store... Should be awesome.

Too much inconveniences come with that "via PM" voting. It's far easier to create a topic with a voting. That's what called Democracy.

Hope you're not serious... What's the big deal if everyone see the results before the ending??
So you think if I collect the votes and every member has the right to vote, it's not democratic?

Don't tell me that when you go to vote in your country's elections, you show everybody your vote. Don't you go into a voting booth where nobody is supposed to see your vote?

Sending a PM requires pressing just as many buttons as sending a new reply to a topic.

Don't tell me that in Your country there's a guy in the booth where you vote. In our case we send the vote to one man who's appointed.... by whom? Who does appoint him to count our votes? How can I be sure my vote won't be falsy used by that guy.

Ok, then we can open up an usual thread where everyone posts their votes, not click in the table above, and after the voting you or someone else can count the votes which can be easily checked.
