Some people will only make remixes for recognition. I know for a fact that Mallorca Lee of Ultra-Sonic does not like Scooter. As they "copied our style". But Ultra-Sonic made a remix of "Move Your Ass" and Scooter remixed "Check Your Head" for them.

They also ripped Cosmos on their 2nd album:

I suspect a bit of get-your-own-back :P

(great tune too, just like when Scooter do it :P)

btw.

it is not said the album will be called "The Stadium Techno Inferno" as said on the first page of this thread. The is a pro and a contra:

Pro TSTI: It is a clever way to poromote the tour and album with the name the same. Also all tours where named afte the album. (BUT: the show in hamburg can not be seen as a tour"

Contra: It is too early to say thw name of the upcomming album now as it will be released next year in march. Also the style of the new album will be progressive and electro and thats not Stadium Techno Style (in my opinion)

Hehe.. I't Make No Sense!!!! I do not think they will name the album "The Stadium Techno Inferno" when the new style will be progressive & electro-house. And I don't think they name the album TSTI just for promote the tour.... But then again, Its is Scooter we talk about. They make no sense. :D :D

that would make sence, the style of the new album has no resemblence to TSTI, i think it is gonna be a live event for a dvd release only,

what if the new album is called the stadium house like the klf album hahaha,

The closest sound of electro house to Scooter is Lass Uns Tanzen... God, I hope that next album will not sound like that.... I know it's too early to tell, but we also hoped that JOATW would not be jumpstyle, but it was..... ;( ...I mean, JAOTW was listenable, but one undersized album is enough 8)

The same way this one could be listenable even if it ended up being only different styles of house. ;) Some house is certainly possible -- but as said, they haven't said they will make house, Rick only said they're influenced by electro and progressive somewhat (and those words don't necessarily mean house).

It's not the stadium style one would expect, yes....but who knows, maybe Scooter is able to make a sort of stadium electro / progressive sound ? The guys are capable of making every style they use energetic and Scooter-like....but i have to admit it's hard to believe an electro track could sound stadium like, but it isn't impossible in my opinion ;)

I don't think it actually means the tracks could strictly be progressive or electro either. Just because some of the tracks may have been influenced to some degree by the two aforementioned genres, it doesn't automatically entail that the tracks to which were inspired by them will end up being the genre it was influenced by. And even if it was the foundation, I see no reason to despair. It could very well be the driving force behind the production of this record; but Scooter's inextricably unrivalled talent in stylizing their music to something unique in itself should be enough to dispel doubt and distaste about the new album presumably caused by dislike pertaining to the two genres. Not being a fan of either of one of them, I still nevertheless know that the final result will be something totally unaticipated. And this is also why I think the name The Stadium Techno Infurno would be defensible irrespective of the next theme. We all know what they're like.

UFO Phenomena & Te Queiro are close too, and the latter is quite thumping too...I wouldn't mind seeing more tracks like these.

Absolutely. I love Te Quiero and U.F.O. Phenomena, and I wouldn't mind it if the next album will be in that style.

LUT is a burner, I wouldn't mind more of such tracks. It's very powerfull and really sounds excellent on high volume 8) Even my mother likes that Scooter track, she thought it would go top10 for sure, so it seemed to work :D

LUT is truly wicked, and we know the guys like it too, because they used parts of it for their Rammstien remix ;)

Such a great tune!

I would like to see more collaborations though, and if they're going house style, I think what would be really cool and would fly in the German charts (and be good music of course! That is the most important! :) )

Scooter with:

The Michael Mind Project
Eric Chase
ATB
Atzen Musik
Yolanda Be Cool & DCUP (this would be pretty massive, as overplayed as No Speak Americano is, I think they could do some interesting stuff with Scooter 8) )

There are about 4 or 5 remixes with LUT samples. ;)

Somehow I feel another TUAO is coming

i agree, at the time TUAO was really a blend of existing scooter styles mixed together in ways they have never been before, scooter energy remained, but the only real creativity in the album was the fat man scoop rap part in a dance track, now that was new and freah, and i did notice a few other artists after that do the same, cascada for exsample, also the album was mainly based aroung the house sound, so i feel you cluld be right, early exsamples with LUT and UFOP, show some sign of creativity, also allthe clubmixes and b side scooter did in house all came out well and aslo could have been sighs as many have suspected, it seems we were right.

LUT is a burner,

classic track, which scooterlike alot, and again early signs of house from scooter, great track

Even my mother likes that Scooter track, she thought it would go top10 for sure, so it seemed to work

aint it funny when your mother takes intrest in scooter, my nums the same, sometimes i feel suprised, as my mum recently anounced she likes weekend!

LUT is truly wicked, and we know the guys like it too, because they used parts of it for their Rammstien remix

again early signs that scooter wanted to take house to antoher level

going back to the first quate i feel now that if TUAO was released now rather than then, it would have seem more success, it seems house is more mainstream now that it was then, if the album is done right which it will be then we have a bomb on our hands,
and we all should now know that mike is a renound house dj, i feel finally mike is gonna add his touch to scooter more now then ever,
but i did think from the start that another TUAO was coming up,

There are about 4 or 5 remixes with LUT samples

Lutzenkirchen - 3 Tage Wach (Scooter Remix)
Rammstein - P*ssy (Scooter Remix edit)
Rammstein - P*ssy ('Lick It' Remix By Scooter)
Scooter - Troy

The first time is an eventuality

The second time is a coincidence

The third time is a regularity

The fourth time is already a tradition :D
