i just arrived home, but i knew the news, a friend called be. About the whole thing: I don't wanna overreact, i don't like to complain all the time. It's not the end of the world, this is not the first or the last cancelled concert but what is really iritating is that they as a band just don't give a fu.ck to announce something X( "Posse, respect to ya!"
And here comes another "good" part: I have 3 tickets, and i doubt i will have my money back :S X(

My dearest brother, fanatik_scooter...I'm sure we'll get our money back. Maybe it's true about the number of Scooter fans here in Romania. I am sad because I was really expecting this concert... I was counting the days 'till the event but...

Welcome to the forum rm_1685 - just wish you had joined at a happier time for you...

I would also expect we will get our money back for this concert. It's sad for Romanina fans, but a bit harsh to critise the band - they can't be blamed for this at all.

I hope those who are disappointed get the chance to see Scooter live in the future sometime

Scooter can't be blamed when a gig is cancelled. I'm blaming them because they don't announce it! we always have to find out from different sources.....

This time, the band can't be blamed at all. It's kinda embarrassing to announce they won't have this gig anymore because... there were not enough sold tickets. The announcement came from an official source (the organizer of the concert) so I don't see the problem.
The ones to be blamed are the people in here and their musical taste. We spoke about this in particular.

Garbage people listen to stupid music here in Romania. That's why we won't have the concert. X(

Thank you for your warm welcome.
We, real romanian fans, should admit that the first time they came here the tickets were sold mostly because football fans of Steaua had their ovation cheers from "Maria (I like it lout)", therefore the Roman Arenas were full. Not few were the moments I've heard the concert was unsatisfying from people who didn't appreciate it because of their small knowledge about the band.
Another reason for this mess (sorry) is that here, in Romania, this concert was not promoted enough, actually at all (in Bucharest - only a pink sticker applied on lighting poles, quickly replaced), no TV, no Radio, NOTHING (unlike the first time they came and unlike other big concerts here: AC/DC, Aerosmith and recently Guns 'N' Roses - nothing against these bands, I truly like them).
SO I THINK WE SHOULD BLAME THE MEDIA IN ROMANIA PERIOD

P.S. Please excuse my bad english!

You have to change the thread's name to "now canceled" instead of "now 26.09.2010" :P

Don't be so pessimistic about our lovely country! It's normal to get your money back. The normality shouldn't surprise you. :D

I feel sorry for you. it's so unfair. I know you lost a lot of money after several cancelled concerts. I think it's inevitable for a fan who is going to so many concerts. I really wanted to meet you again and the others too like Floody and the rest of the romanian fans. I saw Scooter 3 times this 3 year and i'm not so hungry for a Scooter show, the main reason would have been for me: to meet the friends, discuss and have some fun;)

I think we don't need a concert to meet. We can make a Scooter Party. Day, place, hour at your choice. I don't think is a bad idea.

It's a very good idea, i'm in for something like this. Only one problem: even if i will never move for good from Brasov, in the upcoming 3 years i will be student in Cluj

Yes, of course we don't. But it would have been great if we had Scooter live on our meeting. And that happens at the concerts.
