The only negative for me is too much use of the dark voice lyrics from the Stuck On Replay, both in Intro and STR and elsewhere if I'm not mistaken.2-3 times at one release is too much I think. Maybe it fits good if you are really at the venue, but on a CD it doesn't pass along so well I think.

In the intro + the last mash up was the dark voice of JAH Clubmix. And in SOR was the dark voice of the SOR Clubmix ;) I like the fact the dark voice of the JAH clubmix was present at the beginning of the concert and in the end of the concert. It closes the concert evening chapter because of this 2 times use ;)

I receieved it Saturday morning and overall I'm impressed with it!!!

The intro and watching the build up and the reaction when J'adore Hardcore starts is just immense!!!
About H.P's mistakes I actually, strangely enough, like these: it's live and the reason I got the DVD is to witness Scooter live in concert, when it's live glitches happen and all contribute to that magical feeling of it been a live performance!!! I also love watching Rick going crazy with Mike on stage - out of all the DVD's it looks as if they have the best relationship genuinely having a lot of fun on stage...

I wish we could hear more crowd noises - on some tracks (especialy the instrumental) to just listen to this it's hard to tell it's live and i'd love to hear more of the crowd... I also miss some of the live synth bits like we got in the live @ berlin dvd such as in F**k the millenium and Jumping all over the world but overall I love it - it's now on my ipod and I'm still at the stage of been able to watch it over and over...

:D

Finally I got the DVD today and was able to watch it on my TV. Wow, what a great time I had watching this concert in Hamburg. The video quality of the DVD is suberb, and I like the way they recorded HP from a low point at the stage, looks great. And now I finally saw the full light effects, because I was in Hamburg standing in the front row, so could not see what effect the lights have in the venue behind me, and now I could see it because of the DVD. Wow, the entire venue was full of lights and lasers, looks awesome !

Ofcourse I also noticed a view forum members and myself on the DVD, that was great to see. And we were present on the DVD quite often

Ofcourse a DVD will never for 100% be able to show the feeling one had when one was there, but it came pretty close, so thumbs up for this release   The sound quality was great, but some of the pyro blasts were far louder when I was there myself, so probably some sound editting, but nevertheless one gets to hear the blast effects.

My favourite track on the DVD is the last medley-mash-up from ES,HH & MYA, that one sounded and looked already epic when I saw it myself in Hamburg, and on DVD this feeling is captured very well

All in all it's a great release and a real great thing to keep the memory of this great gig alive ! 8o

are you kidding me?

I get the Blu Ray disc of the concert finally! Pop it into the Blu Ray player - i get a menu with audio. Ummm...hit play for the concert to start and sound and no video.
Find out it is in Pal Format with region codes of A, B, C. Are you freaking kidding me? Is there not a NTSC format? It did not state that on amazon.de when I purchased the Blu Ray. You would figure region code of A, B, C would leave it wide open. Playing on an Insignia 55 inch LCD TV (yes, HDTV). How do I get this damn thing to play? I mean seriously. I waited anxiously to get this and I am restricted to the video because of the damn standards?????? X( X( X(

Watched the concert! I'm shocked! 8o What a powerful & massive show! Noticed that from first seconds of j'adore.
Very pleased of dancers Giedre & Gabia (love them  ) and shufflers, especially Sarah!!
H.P. as always has been very funny man   When he tried to shuffle. and other things he do. And he didn't lost his voice as I thought. I noticed it on FIre.
On the Ricky's face I saw happiness!
Simon is a king of towels  :D WICKED MAN!
New versions of old tracks - very good!! Especially the last medley.
And I like TSAMH. Very beautiful sound of vocals.

And now about bad things.
I'm angry that some effects (in SOR) have been cutted. (for example: final drum kick)
And they cut the crowd very often on some tracks. CLIC CLAC shows it very good.
And to video operator: WTF??? Why on CLIC CLAC/SCARBOROUGH RELOADED he shows only Rick And crowd?? He must turn the camera to jumpers/shufflers!

And for synth's.. Rick always can do more on them, but he doesn't do it. According to sound: the best concert I ever heard is Sheffield Tour 2000 in Moscow. but never mind, I like today sound too. :)

My Mark is 8,5 of 10.
Show and tracks vere great, but there's some minuses...
I'm scooter fan since how much is the fish.

I have to add to my review above, that the performance of "SECOND SKIN" was just epic. The light effects inside the venue, the smoke, the wind noises....it was huge ! This track is for sure my second favourite of the DVD....what a show during this track, wow 8o It was already incredible to see live in Hamburg myself, but on the DVD the light effects are even better to be noticed. This performance deserves easily a 9,5 out of 10, it really does.  8o

I also wanted to add about Second Skin- I think there are many new little sounds added in the live version comparing to the album, especially in the 2nd part of the song (after the music shifting) I hope you know what I mean.
Those additions making it better.

Also another thing is H.P. sounding very deep and dark right before Fire-where he asks to switch off the lights a couple of times- you know right there something huge is going come :P 8) :D

I wish they could do a track with this kind of HP voice

I'm watching some youtube clips as the dvd isn't for sale in belgium. I really miss the live interventions. ok, they changed tracks but michael and rick leave a lot their keyboards so they're faking a lot.

and it's cool hp forgot the lyrics of posse but how can the 'what' part be right if everythings before are the wrong lyrics?
scooter,come back to belgium!!!

My order at Amazon.de was dispatched today :) I hope I'll get the package in June. So then I'll make a review about the Blu-Ray :))
And I agree, Scooter have to release Move Your Ass (Hardstyle version 2010) as soon as possible! Maybe as a b-side, or even as a single between two albums! This version is just kick ass!

NTSC of the Blu Ray?

Does anyone know if Amazon or another site has the Blu-Ray coded for NTSC vs Pal?
Basically, if I dont have a computer with a Blu Ray player, I cant play this disc in my regular player.
At this point, does anyone know where I can find the AVI format of the concert?

wearethegreatest, why do you still think that Live in Hamburg Blu-Ray is not region free? It IS.

He thinks this because he has it and can't play it (he got it and the audio plays but video won't) - as far as I know from Richard it is region free, but it is PAL, so won't play on an NTSC TV or player?
....so its to do with the TV encoding format, not the actual regionalisation of the BluRay content - the disc is region free, but it is in PAL format

Regionalisation is to allow / prevent a disc (DVD or BluRay) being played in an area, the PAL / NTSC issue is a rather more fundamental video standard. From my (limited) understanding the PAL / NTSC issue is not clear cut issue, I think a lot of newer TVs (here at least) can cope with both formats, but from doing some quick resaerch it seems that it is more common to be able to view NTSC in a PAL country than vice-versa :

"In general, it is easier for consumers in PAL countries to view NTSC discs than vice versa. Almost all players sold in PAL countries play both kinds of discs, and most modern PAL TVs can handle the converted signal. However, most NTSC players can't play PAL discs, and most NTSC TVs don't work with PAL video"

I always though this PAL/NTSC thingy is only a problem with DVDs, but not with blu-rays...
Looks like I'm wrong, though

that's why I never had any problems. In germany, we have PAL and my DVD player/TV can handle NTSC, too.

Same here - I've not had a PAL / NTSC issue, it's only if a disc is actually regionalised it's caused a problem
