Sorry, but I didn't understand what you mean... :|

I think he meant that it's good that the dedicated fans have critic on a release when the quality isn't as it should be, or could be ;)

Yes, Ed summed up well what I said.

I feel like a politician that has to be interpreted to get the true meaning 8)

Ok. Sorry, I just didn't get the point. Poor English, you know. My English I mean. ;) I'm not very dedicated fan though. Far from that to be honest... :whistling:

Really hope that we hear better the non-studio things during these songs, I don't even really hear the explosions for example during Call Me Mañana :(

Yeah, the expllosions are very silent in the track, but I know and you know that they were mega loud, so should be heared very good in the track...hmmm.. :S

We were there for Scooter and we were really singing loud and that's what they do. 8| Live gig should sound live gig, not like studio recording IMO. The tracks sound good this way of course but not live AT ALL. ;(

I have to agree with that, the voice of HP sounds live and the rest, well, like from the studio....strange really, I hope it's due to the samples that it sounds so, but I'm afraid they did some heavy modifiing / editting, yes :S :S

I know for sure that Madonna does this kind of things on her live releases to make herself sound better when it comes to "official" live release-so there is some studio version of "live singing" mixed with the live sound and etc-I hope you understand what I mean,as I'm not too strong on the technical side of it.

Yes, I know what you mean. The sound can be modified during the show nowadays. My husband works with these audio equipment so I know a bit about them. ;) But this is modified afterwards because the explotions are missing like PJ said and also the voices of the crowd.

I do hope it's because of the quality of the samples....but I fear they've indeed done some heavy mixing editting afterwards, yes :S

I have still hopes the real CD will sound better, I heared some crowd noises in SOR, silent ones but they were there, so I still have a bit of hope that on the real CD it should be OK....but fear I might be wrong... :S

]I don't think the samples quality is that bad, it's not 1999 with slow connection when we had poor 32Kbits samples or something like that. I think this is the final version of the sound we will get. All these tracks and not one shout from the crowd? After all the talks about how the live shows and the crowd reaction are the HARDCORE of Scooter?

They like deleted the crowd. ;( Maybe the quality of the sound wasn't very good then "raw" so they decided to make it "better". And maybe the kids nowadays don't even know that the real live sound ain't the same as the studio sound as they see only total playback gigs by the pop "artists". Ok, Scooter is also playback for the music but H.P.'s sound is live though.

This sounds rough judging but I think this crtics is deserved now. Hamburg gig was really really massive and the crowd was shouting like hell there!!! We weren't that quiet at all!!! And the explotions! They were huge and now they are all deleted. ;(

We were indeed all very loud, and the explosions were mega loud...I really have no clue why they had the need to make the crowd so "silent" and the explosions almost unhearable.... I still blame the samples, although I have to admit they aren't very low quality, but the samples aren't CD quality either...so I have stil hope for atleast an OK sound on the live CD ;)

@ Ed, the samples are of good quality. Like always. So you cannot blame them. It's heavily edited and that's all. But think about the DVD with these sound files... 8| No explotions? No crowd? On live DVD! 8| The gig was great and the atmosphere was unique. ;( They cannot destroy it this way...

I agree with Cassandra on the atmosphere issue. When I hear a CD recording of a concert I've been too and I hear the crowd sing along I feel good because I know that I was amongst this crowd singing along with everyone else. I can handle without the cheers in the end of every song but not without the signature of HP+crowd with the Na-Na-Na before and during HMITF and Maria and One. This is for me a signature of Scooter live concert.

Yes. The big crowd makes a big sound and nothing covers it if it's not heavily edited. The atmosphere is totally destroyed if all the live elements are deleted. Scooter is not any rock band anyway so there is not so much live stuff on the gigs so they really should have more respect to the live elements.

Maybe they should put on the site something like a poll with 1 or 2 tracks with a "crowd channel" on the track to compare it with the quality of the "no-crowd" samples we already have and let us see and decide what sounds better quality.

Yes, that could be a good option. But maybe they just could release the tracks as they really were. A bit editing of course like always but not THIS much! 8|

I am happy there is not too much crowd sound - I wanted to hear Scooter, and not the crowd, I would have been very disappointed if the crowd had been any louder during the tracks. I think you will hear the crowd in between tracks on the final CD, but for the samples it's better without them in my opinion. I think a lot of crowd noise in the samples would not encourage anyone who wasn't there to buy the album

- Posse
- Endless Summer / Hyper Hyper / Move your Ass
