Hahaha! :D Those are really hilarious details both! :P :D :D :D :D

This video really is something the music videos should be! Giving some extra value for the song. ;) And also the ones you must watch many times to notice all the details and get the point. It's not too obvious video but not too tricky to understand either. Did you notice that Paul was the only member who wasn't trying to kill Till in the video?

yea, I did notice that. This video really adds to the song. And I love it how they kinda "re-did" all the old videos. Can't stop watching it. To me definitely one of their best videos

I missed the premiere because i was on the road from the early morning. I just arrived home...
About the video: i don't know if there is too much to comment....it's perfect, has a story, it's funny but in the same time sad. I can find all those reasons in this video wich made me love Rammstein 6-7 years ago. QUALITY SPEAKS FOR ITSELF!!!!!!

After at least 100 watchings LOL, I can say this is so HUGE. As i said before everything is perfect;) Funny, sad, mistical.. I like the part when they are thinking about another frontman to replace Till, i think the first one is a canadian poet and singer (i don't remember his name now) and than James hetfield from Metallica:D:D:D Also Marilyn Manson is special guest on the video;) It's creative, u can see that they re-build every scene from the past but it's obviously these are new made "scenes from the past", just look at Richard's haircut, it's the actual and in the Ohne Dich video he had a different one, also his nails are black in this video and in OD he had then normal:P Every detail has a semnification, and just to name 2: You can see Schneider wearing some jewish thing on his had, kippa if i'm not wrong and he is the one who gives the money to the priest who knows also "every dirty thing".....what a coincidence:P Also this can be interpretated as an answer to an old acusation at the beggining of their career "Rammstein is a nazi and antisemit band..." I'm sure we all remember;) Than is another interesting thing: we all know that Till is a poet too. One of his inspiration sources is the sea (remember Seeman??:P), and it's not a coincident that he shows us one of his idols at the end of the video: Ernest Hemingway, who wrote "The old man and the SEA";)

There's no Marilyn Manson in the video. It's just a look-a-like IMO. At around 3:43 when they're standing up to get outside you can see it pretty well that it's a double. But apart from that I completely agree with you. I also think the pregnant woman infront of his coffin could be a hint on the fact that Richard has a daughter with Till's ex-wife. Especially as at that point the lyrics say "wir halten einander aus". And I also love that on the wreath are quotes from the Seemann and Ohne dich lyrics.

Oh and here's the original photo of what you can see on the card at the end (Till with the shark).

Thanks T!M, good info. The pregnant woman could be a hint like u said, i'm still amazed....there is so much to discover, this video has so many things to say
Also I think the location were Till is, it's not a pure coincidence, we all know that Rammstein is not a fan of US, just remember "Amerika"LOL:D:P So we can interpretate this: Till travelled on the other side of the ocean, in Amerika and when he was fed, he escaped to an island, exactly how Hemingway did in his last years, away from the US.

I always think when I listen to Bückstabü the fact that Richard has made a child with Till's ex-wife... :whistling: Just think about the lyrics... Somehow I've just got that feeling EVERY time. :D This has nothing to do with Haifisch but came to my mind about Richard. :P He's a P-L-A-Y-B-O-Y! :P :P :P :D

The location is not surely any coincidence! A'rsch der Welt! hahaha! :D Couldn't be any other place than Amerika. :D :D

Yes. ;) There is some American mail text on the mail box on the video... :D Or something that reveals that "A'rsch der Welt" is in the US. :D So surprising! :D

One friend of mine had some very interesting expression for it.. Something like "bück es für das Tabu" or something... Like bend it for the taboo. ;) It is about wanting something (you maybe shouldn't want). The song I mean. ;) Is there any sense in this in your opinion? :P :D :D Maybe not! LOL!! But yes, Bückstabü is not any real word and it is made by Till to describe things you want. But the lyrics of the song are another story. The point is pretty easy to get IMO though. ;)

@Traxx, here is the translation: We endure one another

and the whole song translated

We stick together
We endure one another
We hold onto one another
No one holds us back

We stay faithful to you
We firmly hold onto that
And obey the rules
If you leave rules to us*

And the shark, that has tears
And they run from the face
But the shark lives in water
So no one can see the tears

We keep our speed
We keep our word
If one can’t keep up
Then we immediately stop

We keep our eyes open
We hold each other by the arm
Six hearts that burn
The fire keeps you warm

And the shark, that has tears
And they run from the face
But the shark lives in water
So no one can see the tears

In the deep it is lonely
And so many a tear is shed
And it so happens that the water
In the oceans is salty

You can think of us
Whatever you want
We get compensation
We never keep still

And the shark, that has tears
And they run from the face
But the shark lives in water
So no one can see the tears

In the deep it is lonely
And so many a tear is shed
And it so happens that the water
In the oceans is salty

And the shark, that has tears
And they run from the face
But the shark lives in water
So no one can see the tears
All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.

They have still hold "each other's hands" even though there have been hard times in the band. ;) Haifisch is very beautiful song. And I love the little fact about sharks in is: shark has to keep on swimming in order to be able to breath. Shark can never stop swimming. And the band also have to "go ahead" in order to be able to "live". It's very simple little metafor but I love it very much. :)
