Inglourious Basterds
How are you able to stomach that scene where they viciously murder that defenseless German soldier? I've never seen something so grotesque in my life. I've noticed quite a few films recently that are glorifying death in the most sadistic ways. What is it with these people? Who actually pays for this cra'p?
Ironically, Inglorious Basterds makes the Jews look like the bad guys.
I think the last film I watched all the way through was 'The Fourth Kind' with Milla Jovovich, which was actually quite a frightening viewing experience. The fabricated "real" footage was really disturbing-- particularly the one where that apparent alien abductee shot up and levitated in the air from his bed. The aggressive sounding voices in that Sumerian dialect were also quite unnerving. It was fascinating to see how the Dr. Abigail Tyler who was supposed to be retelling the events of some alien abduction frenzy was in actuality a fictional character... I mean, I actually thought it was genuine at first! As embarrassing as that is to say. I think the fact that they were trying to pass this fake footage off as real made me appreciate it even more. The concept of the story was brilliant.
And yeah, I don't really tend to watch films everyday. I'm not really the kinda person that enjoys them so much. I'm more into the whole sitcom thing, which does more for me. I remember watching 2012 a few months back. That was relatively enjoyable, I guess.
i'm not a movie freak. Th last film i saw was......."Hell in Dresden" (about 13 feb 1945)
But this i watched the whole series of Austin Stevens....he is so fuc.king GREAT!!!

Irreversible
Die Welle. I remember watching a previous version almost 10 years ago, so this one was a bit predictable. I felt a bit too old for it...
