i think u are wrong! You should check the facts before you post something like this. Right after Axel left, i read on his site that it was HIS choice to leave the band to focus on solo projects. About Jay i'm not 100% sure....but i saw a video on youtube, an interview with Jay in Moldova. He was asked why did he left Scooter and he explained that in the last year (i assume 2006) he felt like he was "caught between Scooter and his solo stuff" And that there were no harsh discussions, after a few discussion he decided to leave and they are still friends and he thinks HP would want more than a friendship...maybe a collaboration (unfortunately i can't find the video, damn it )
About Ferris i don't wanna talk because i don't know the facts.

As far asI know it, this is what I've heard.

FERRIS:

Ferris was always someone who wanted attention, when you check older vids with Ferris you'll see that he was always going to the front of the stage seeking attention. He also wanted to sing in tracks besides hpv so he asked hp and rick if he could be more in the picture in Scooter. HP didn't want this since he thought he was the only frontman and Rick agreed, Rick said HP is the 'face 'of Scooter and not Ferris. At that time in 1997 Axel was working as an assistant for Scooter. Then in early 1998 HP and Rick forced Ferris to leave since he was claiming too much attention to himself in stead of Scooter as a band.

AXEL:

Since Axel was already working in the studios for some time they asked him if he would replace Ferris. Axel was the one who made the choice himself to leave and HP and Rick didn't expect it. During the Push tour Axel got sick and Jay replaced him for a few concerts. Then while Axel was in the hospital he started to think about his carreer at Scooter. He then also started dating with Kelly Trump (who still is is gf btw) and then he knew he wanted to leave. He wanted out of the busy Scooter schedule and spend more time for his DJing and his new gf.

JAY:

Since Scooter knew Jay from the Ramp remix and that he replaced Axel for a few gigs, he was the best choice for replacing Axel. Now JAy was imo always the most enthusiastic of all Scooter third members and really enjoyed being in the band. Then after the 2006 Tour HP and Rick felt that Jay's heart wasn't in it anymore. I guess it's also got to do with the fact that looking back HP and Rick didn't feel WGTLLN was a very good album and I guess in part they blamed Jay. Since they felt JAy wasn't going so well anymore on Scooter they asked him to leave and Michael came.

This is how I've heard it, off cource I dunno if it's really really true.

I can remember when H.P. did say in 90s Ferris wanted to leave the band by himself because he want to start a solo career

Yes, what H.P. said was wrong, indeed. It was good for Scooter, and the image but not the truth!

The truth about leaving Axel and Jay:

To my knowledge because of the contract! After Ferris was leaving the band because of the known reasons, H.P., Rick and Jens decided the third member of Scooter gets a contract to stay in Scooter only four years! And after four years they check the third member, and they decide again to continue the contract or it's over. So and we all know the first member with such contract was Axel Coon and then came Jay Frog as second. As far as I know they want to make sure, with such kind of contract there's no trouble with the third member, and H.P. remains the frontman!

So that's it, what I know!

PS: Axel has married Kelly Trump!

may be it will be offtop but I don't think that contract history of Axel and Jay will repeat with Simon...

Axel is still in a relationship with Kelly Trump. She was one of the reasons, why he left Scooter. I'n not sure if this one is true , but I think the track "Nessaja" was also one of the reasons, why he left the band.

A myth about Jay's exit was a big beef between him and H.P.

This reasons are still reports, which aren't yet 100% verified by the persons, so it's possible, that one of the reasons aren't true.

Can I ask why 'Nessaja' was one of the reasons he left the band?

I know this part may not be relevant to this thread but I will post anyway, I have talked with Ferris, Jay and Axel quite recently but I have not asked them about Scooter. I have mainly asked them what they have been doing recently and other stuff. Here's what they have said.

Ferris: He is making music for film, television and documentaries as he prefers that to making cds etc as it is less stressful. He said he doesn't mind Scooter's music but other times they make him really angry. He says he has some new music coming soon and it will be great. He is currently living in London for about 6 months then he is going to U.S.A for a short time. Then back to Germany or London. He also said that he dislikes Germany and London is his real home. He does quite often refer back to times when he was in Scooter, he says one gig a long time ago now in Scotland was a great experience for him and some of the places he has been with Scooter were great.

Jay: Well I have asked him about Scooter and I can't remember exactly what he said but it was something like this 'Scooter are the past I concentrate on my solo work only now'. He seems to be mostly remixing for people now and a resident DJ at H1 in Hamburg.

Axel: I have talked to him the least. Can't really remember what he said as it was about a year ago I last chatted with him. He said he had been in Thailand for a few years making music and he said that it is great there and it is a great country. Also he still likes Scooter's music and other dance music. He is very interested in the U.K and what music people there are in to.

I think they have found their third member for a while

Michael seems to enjoy it very much, and they make a great team. When I saw Scooter in Leipzig, Michael was easily more energetic than Rick, and sometimes even more than HP , and they make great music together. The tree are a trio to stay for a while I hope!

This is correct from all the information I've been told over the years.
In short, Ferris was an attention seeker who developed depression thus as a result getting kicked out of the band. A four year contract was then bought in.
Axel left after his four years were up with (as far as I know) no hard feelings.
Jay also left after his four years but sometimes did not like his job as he was told to scour the internet looking for good samples that Scooter could use. H.P and Jay did talk about doing a project together when they went to the gym together sometimes.
And as for Michael? Time will tell, but for now it seems he is doing a good job and that the guys all get along great.

This guy gets it; just because they say in interviews that ex-members left because of free will, it doesn't mean it's true. Remember the interview with Ferris that was posted here a while back? Where he said he got depressed during his time in Scooter but he had to hide it, and they never talked about it until recently. Keeping that in mind, why would you believe all explanations on why the others left (contract expired, they wanted to)?

He-he... Most peole thinks that all that media-people talk to media is the truth Sometimes you never says the truth becuase of grave consequences...
