I think it's somewhat relevant to start this topic, once again! Here's an interesting part from the interview (and once again I have to say, great job TRP!) the Russian posse had with Scooter:
Quoted
RSP: Our next question is about your next album. Will it be in a Jumpstyle, Hardstyle, or we can expect something new?
H.P.: Oh, we still don't know yet. We're going to start to work on a new material... m-m-m-m... I think next month.
RSP: Many people want Scooter to do more old school Hardcore and Rave stuff like Hyper Hyper, Move Your Ass. Can you see yourself as a real Hardcore producers in the future? Maybe something like Crank it Up? Something more underground?
H.P.: We like the hard stuff and we like Trance tunes. So it depends on ideas. Which ideas you have and how you feel. Our last albums was really harder than before. I'm sure we'll do this stuff again in a way, but maybe we'll try it in another style.
RSP: We heard many suggestions from the ravers who want you to re-release some of your old stuff like ...And The Beat Goes On! but in new version.
H.P.: OK...
Rick: We sometimes do it live...
H.P.: Yeah, live, we have some special versions.
Rick: I think it will make no sense to re-release them like BBE or Three Drivers doing it with their tracks almost every year.
H.P.: But we could do something like a bonus remix album. That would be an idea. Yes, yes, maybe we'll do this.
Hehe, wicked.

It's always exciting to speculate, but right now I have no clue what style Scooter could do
I hope for something UTROTT-ish, because I do love this album, and the hardstyle influence on it

same here. I'm one of those patient fans who can wait longer for a better album. I hope they will take their time to release a better album than UTROTTI soooo hope they drop hardstyle and go back to stuff like the logical song, but with new sounds etc...
I think 04.2011 would be ok....for Scooter. They should think a little bit....QUALITY MATTERS. Who cares if they release 10 albums/year, and all is 100% ripped and cheesy... FOR SURE WE DON'T WANT ANOTHER SCANDAL LIKE IT WAS WITH TECHNOBOY![]()
But I ask myself, did Scooter want this scandal on purpose ??? Because they very well knew IMO that the track would start a big scandal
Was it done for extra media attention ???
I don't give a damn Ed, they should draw attention with QUALITY NOT WITH A SCANDAL![]()
But the problem is that quality doesn't get you in the news, scandals do, but quality should be the main point, not a scandel, yes

mmh..also right..but I wouldn't say, that it was a "scandal"..most of the fans or lovers of Scooter music don't know about that fact!I don't give a damn Ed, they should draw attention with QUALITY NOT WITH A SCANDAL![]()
I totally agree with thatBut the problem is that quality doesn't get you in the news, scandals do, but quality should be the main point, not a scandel, yes

Indeed, it might be it won't be out until next year. Most important to me is to know they will be in the studio soon, making new tracks.

And I think it doesn't matter if they work 5 month on a album or 24. They always said that that the most songs of an album built up in a very short time close to the deadline. The work on UTROTT takes more than 12 months, but it's not better like other albums they create in shorter time.
If they will start the work in April or May they could release another album this year...maybe in the end of November with the time of 7 months. That should be enough, isn't it?
But I just hope we'll get a new one this year, because I can't get enough of their music.
This is a signature. It would definitely be enough for them, that's why I thought we might get a 2010 album. Our Happy Hardcore and Wicked! both appeared in 1996; and many, me included, think Wicked! is one of their best albums
I doubt that we will get an album this year, spring 2011 is more likelyIt's always exciting to speculate, but right now I have no clue what style Scooter could do
I hope for something UTROTT-ish, because I do love this album, and the hardstyle influence on it
