If the single will be a 2-track only, like the case was with TSAMH - I can say right now that I won't buy it.
I want a normal maxi single, and with the normal kind of club mix, + the extended mix and B-side. And hopefully, 1 or 2 good remixes.

While that's perfectly relatable on some level, I still don't get the fuss around the issue-- in other words, it's blown way out of proportion. You obviously have the innate desire to purchase music physically in order to feel like you've actually bought something. No shame in that, I suppose. We're all a little fussy when it comes to the digital transition unfolding before us. When it comes to music though, I honestly don't see the big deal. A collector may feel upset about the transformation for obvious reasons, but you are not a collector to my knowledge. Unless I'm mistaken?

Will you buy the single at all if it isn't sold to your satisfaction? That seems a little silly. No disrespect intended.

No, I'm not a collector. I have every album except ...ATBGO!, OHH and AOL. And at the moment, 5 singles.
Mp3 releases are okay to me, but like many collectors, I want to be able to hold the music I buy in my hands. See the cover, look in the booklet - all those things.
To answer your last question - if I like a single, I buy it. I don't care about chart positions, or sales. Of course if's a bit fun when a single and/or album does well in the charts, but it doesn't mean very much to me. I like the music I like, for what it is ;)

Maybe the reason TSAMH only got a 2-track single was because of that awful remix they put on there.
