Scooter should release singles and albums nearly at the same time in Germany and the UK in future...
most of the bigger UK Scooter fans won't wait for several weeks for the UK release, thanks to the internet they will download the songs or will order the album for amazon e. g. and that's bad for the UK chart positions.

That's a fact, simultanious releases would be better for the sales, because indeed UK fans wouldn't order the CD's from abroad anymore.

I actually ended up waiting for the UK release though surprisingly. Seen as I downloaded the tracks illegally, I thought it was only right to purchase the CD eventually. It seemed more convenient to get a hold of the UK version so I went ahead and did that. Despite the UK packaging looking considerably worse than any of the other releases- which I believe merely consisted of colour changes rather than a complete revamp- I now think ours is better value for money. Still, shame about the pathetic presentation.

But that's just me.

I think Scooter/Kontor should work better on their BI (Business Intelligence)-meaning,trying to forecast hard times at the charts like Christmass, all those American Idol/X-Factor finalists releasing their albums at the end of the season, big charts names like Lady Gaga releasing new albums,etc...

They need to override some of those problematic factors upon releasing a new album(of course it's not possible to override all of the mentioned above),but a release after Christmass at least would have been appropriate due to all the cheese albums people buy by the dozen.

And they should return to their old single-release policy: each 2-3,5 months a new single from one album; release the lead single at least 2 weeks before the album is released (many people bought only UTROTT and not the Ti sento-single because they were released on the same day).
Some people and even the media who still play "Ti sento" and not "TSAMH" could be Scooter-overfed because of 4 releases within 4 months. In 2002, after Ramp, people had to wait till March for the Nessaja-release and you could nearly feel the hunger for "fresh food".

Yes, what a shame, and strange at the same time. In 2008 #1 in the UK with JAOTW, in 2009 only #62 with UTROTT, this somehow sounds strange, because after a #1 album there normally should be lot's of interest for the next follow up album, I don't get it, it's just NOT logical that UTROTT did so bad after the incredible succes of JAOTW. ?(
Partly it is caused by the bad promo this time, but I have the feeling lot's of JAOTW fans let Scooter down this time somehow, for some reason .... :S

Well, JAOTW is better... The people who love JAOTW don't maybe love UTROTT as much. I'm a good example. UTROTT is a good album but not on the same level with JAOTW. For a person who loves JAOTW. Feel free to disagree. I know people here don't disagree mostly with this opinion... :whistling:

The JAOTW fans might indeed not like UTROTT that much, but it's a huge difference to sale 400.000 copies in the UK, or like 12.000 copies in the UK. Even if 3/4 of the JAOTW fans wouldn't buy UTROTT it would still have soled 100.000 copies in the UK. That's the strange thing in my opinion. ?(

It's indeed strange and sad. :S But there's not solid fan base for Scooter in Britain so maybe that's one reason... ?(

I think another reason is that because of the delayed release in the UK, most fans bought the album from Germany in October.

I think you're right, most UK fans were young 12-15 year old teenagers, and they tend to skip from one favourite to another and are very quickly influenced by trends. One can't count on them that much as on older fans. Sad but true. :(
