Well lets hope for the best at the moment. I wasn't expecting the cover art to be as good as the German version but this may not be such a bad thing as it is aimed for a different market - the crucial thing i think is that it gets some promo ...

I would not really expect it to do as well on iTunes, because you don't get the DVD - its only about £1 more for the physical release and for that you get the 40 videos :)

firstly, i've been watching a LOT more TV than i usually do and i've seen the ad once. the chris moyles parody album has more promotion than this. this album is literally going to be 'under the radar.'

Agreed. Infact, I've seen an ad for the new N Dubz album a couple of times now. Maybe i'm just watching the wrong channels at the wrong time, but there is not enough promo to get near a top 10 album, and definiately not as much compared to JAOTW. Infact, SteveAATW's youtube channel is plugging the N Dubz album, yet there is nothing about Scooter.

As this is my first experience of this album, is it correct that j'adore hardcore starts about 5 seconds into the track?

Yes, the CD itself looks like it has been printed by someone at home :( Why couldn't they have put the same print on it like on the bonus DVD ???? ?(

Sadly I am not suprised after seeing the store charts yesterday, and Play and HMV bestseller charts last night :( It seemed to be doing so well in the pre-release charts.
It could still make the Top 40 if it gets promotion this week, and if the stores have enough copies - I hope it does - its a great album :)

My guess is that it won't do well and it won't finish in the top 40 this week. I really can't be bothered either, simply because I expected this to happen. Let's count how many times AATW have let us down over a year:

TQIWITQ
JAOTW (single)
JTR-WYW (and what a mistake it was!)
JAH (could have helped things considerably)
UTROTT (no promo)

I think it's quite obvious that AATW don't rate Scooter as highly as they would suggest, otherwise it would be selling well. I really don't know why I bother getting my hopes up anymore. Wave goodbye to the amazing UK tour we hoped for, it'll probably be just one small gig now.
