Well, it's getting better now, but in 1994 the DJ's scene was really against the things Scooter did, from what I heared. Also because underground music got popular due to Scooter, just as now the hardstyle scene is angry, and the jumpstyle scene was

Also I think there is indeed some jealousy too + some people always seem to hate everything Scooter make whitout judging the tracks. The best example is that some whitelabels Scooter released got praised by some "scene" papers, and when they found out it was Scooter, suddenly the track wasn't good anymore according to them....... it's a love-hate relationship of Scooter and the DJs / the scene....

It's so stupid to jugde a band out of them in persons, instead of their music. Like, Scooter jumped on the jumpstyle hype, and now the hardstyle, but they're far from the only ones who did it.
They may have brought more attention to said styles, but they joined them late, and nevertheless, they can't be blamed for choosing a new style to their music.

I don't think that they'll stop after this chapter. Especially not after the huge success they had with JAOTW and also have with UTROTT now. I'm pretty positive that there'll be at least one more chapter.

Yeah. It won't be the last chapter. HP is still in top form and their music gets better and better.

I don't think they'll stop. I don't want to believe that. It's impossible. I'll stop listening to music if they stop.

If they chuck Mike out for whatever reason, I will lose a lot of respect for H.P and Rick. Mike is obviously a talented DJ and if they aren't happy with the direction the band's taken, then it's the fault of the band as a whole and not any one person. However I doubt this will be the case, given the success they've had with this album as well as JAOTW.

I think this DJ changing is just a habit, a rut Scooter has every 4 years. It's like football. Every 4 years, there's a new World Cup championship.

im just back reading and finding out why all the others left - i suppose its damaging in the long run for an artist to stay in the backround of a band like Scooter. He or she wont get that much attention because of how strong HP is and rightly so - you cant tone down HP ! So they will have to leave at some point unless they are happy in a supporting role.

But i think fanatic summed it up, Scooter will take their course.. our job is to listen and enjoy

Scooter is living as long as HP and Rick wanna continue. It's their band. I hope that they'll continue for some years more at least. UTROTT is a huge album and I cannot see any reason why they would stop now. Maybe they could release an album every second year in the future instead of releasing one every year... But they won't stop. They simply can't!

That's a fact, it's their band, and as long as HP, Rick & Jens will enjoy making music they will go on, and from what I heared in interviews they still love what they do and not intend to stop
