I want to cry...

...because I have a good reason for it! ;(

In these past few days it was announced that Rammstein and Tokio Hotel are coming to Croatia!
I have nothing against those two bands (OK, maybe against TH), but where is Scooter?!?!
Literally everyone is coming in Croatia...our country is very attractive, but still...it's not enough for Scooter. ;( ;( ;(

Please, dear H.P., Rick and Michael...consider this... ;(
We don't need a knife, we don't need a gun...all we need is Scooter and some fun! :)

Both very good bands IMO but i understand your frustration. It must be painful, but remember a few years ago when fans in the UK said the same thing, then look what happened... So there is hope for you yet, my friend

One day they might come, it all depends on how much Scooter fans there are in Croatia ;)

It's a bit like in Finland even though Scooter has been here at festivals. But they haven't had a concert gig here for ages. And they get zero promotion here at the moment too. No one even wants to give any review about their new album anywhere. ;( :cursing: I'm so angry at Finnish media. F**k them!

It's like all the other bands get all the attention but not Scooter with their great new album. ;(

The same in The Netherlands ;( ;( ...and because of no attention it's also impossible to get noticed and to sell their music....so I already resigned to the fact that they will never be succesfull in our country again, and to the fact that they will never tour our country..... :S ...... But luckily for us, Germany is not so far away ;) ..... once in a while some Scooter single gets a bit popular here, but also not hugely popular. The last was TQIWITQ, and before that One & Maria.....but this were the only onces of which videos were shown on Dutch TV the last few year's, and they also sold a bit, but also not very much. :S

But I don't understand what the f**k media has against Scooter which was very much promoted before?!?! ;( I thought it could be a bit different now after the great summer festival gigs this year but NO!!!! X( It also seems that most of the Finnish people think that Scooter doesn't even exist any more. ?(

The same people think in The Netherlands........ 8| ?( ;( ....... but it's no wonder, because if one isn't a fan, one even hasn't got the chance to become one, because one never hears the Scooter tunes.... :cursing: ;( ;( ;( ;(

I think it's more what society wants, it is "normal" for people to make fun of Scooter and don't consider their music "real". So even if some TV / Radio presentor / station would like it, they would still not play the track or critisize it just because it's what society wants to hear. Secretly alot more people like Scooter than we know ;) They are afraid to admit it, because they are ashamed for it somehow, strange people ;) :S

I know what you mean - your words make sense.
I just don't understand why people are afraid to like something the majority doesn't like, it seems like very few really dares to be themselves.
And about the radio stations - are they really afraid of playing something that the majority doesn't like? If someone hates the music they play, then change channel, or turn off the radio for 5 minutes. Is it that f*cking hard?

I don't give a damn what other people think about me - for all I care, the world can scr*w itself.

Big record company bosses choose what tracks, bands have to be plugged on the radio. Sometimes new song, that are cr.ap are plugged on the radio and played like every 2 hours, and suddenly it get big hits. Scooter get's no plugging at all, so it's still a great achievement that they are so succesfull as they are, because it is music that the big record companies don't want to have in the charts. It's strange, but its a fact. A small group of people decides what we should like and what not, and the society follows that without thinking. We Scooter fans think, and choose what we like and don't listen to something because it's "in" to like it. But most of the youth listens to music that is "in"..... :S

Yes, I agree totally with you Ed. It's exactly like you said. But fortunately you can hear Scooter at least sometimes on some radio stations in Finland. Ok, they are always old tracks like HMITF etc. but that's better than nothing. But I really cannot understand what's the point in very boring r'nb c**p which is in power play on every station except the local station of Tampere which plays just rock! :D

u'r right! what u said is 100% true. u described it very well. A lot of people likes Scooter but they don't admit it because it's... Scooter! it happened to me that a friend heard a HPV chorus of a track and enjoyed it. but when HP started his part, she said very disappointed: 'oh! it's Scooter!' :(

I don't understand what's wrong with Scooter? :S Why do people think like that about them? Are they annoying or what? ;( Hard to understand 'cause I am a fan and cannot see it that way... And my music taste is so weird that I couldn't understand even if I wasn't fan. :D

In the past I was ashamed to admit that I listen to Scooter...but, today it's opposite!
I'm proud to say that Scooter & Modern Talking are my favorite music artists!
No more shame! :)

That's great to hear! :) There shouldn't be anything to be ashamed of. This is just a matter of taste and we all have right to have different tastes. ;)

In fact...I will be very jealous if someone would tell me that he or she (except it is some really nice girl) also listens to Scooter. I feel privileged to listen Scooter. 8)

I was never ashamed with Scooter. I don't care what others say about me and the band I like. Of course it's not pleasant to hear critics about ur fave band but I don't care. I'm proud with Scooter!

There's actually very few who knows that I listen to Scooter - only my dad, my oldest cousin and a friend of me, and also my sister
I haven't bothered telling people, but when they finally find out, like when I'm getting a car and listen to Scooter in it, I won't give a damn what they think of me :D
