@ Scooterworld: As you can see...I want Scooter to be successful...that's why I created the topic about the sales...to see how successful they actually are. ;)
@ Traxx: That about the electric power was funny... :D
Scooter have sold millions and millions of records...if they stop with music business, they will have enough money to live like the kings for the rest of their life's! :)
Unless they are spending their money like crazy, which can also be possible...and in that case... :D
But, electric bills are certainly not a problem for them! ;)
@ Cassandra: I'm glad we settled the things... :)
We don't need a knife, we don't need a gun...all we need is Scooter and some fun! :)

But nowadays a lot of bands don't earn most of their money out of CD sales, but from touring. Don't know if that's also the case for Scooter.

Scooter is touring pretty much and ain't very cheap band to book... So they get pretty much money out of it I think but they also use a lot money to all the pyrotechnics and lasers and dancers and stuff so hard to say how big the income is at last...

I love Rammstein, most of their tracks are pure quality. Yet I still don't consider myself a fan :P
Have all their albums though, except for the last one... that's in progress :)

A good load of money in - booking, etc.
A certain load out - pyros, dancers, venue, etc.

So, the question is - what is the income? :D

I don't like them very much, but a few songs are really good made.

I don't think that you can compare Rammstein with Scooter.
The really really great thing at Scooter is, that they don't need years to release the next stuff.
Scooter is party music, a wonderful feeling with so much energy in it.

BTW: I heard that it will be the last album from Rammstein, because of such disagreements in the band?!
you are funny. First of all i agree ith that Scooter's music is party music, with good feeling and energy. But....when it comes to production IT DOSEN'T matter if a new album is made in 4 years or 2 months IF it's good. First of all rock music it's harder to produce. Secondly Scooter is ripping lately a lot and a "new album" is done in 7-8 months.....sad but true. Rammstein is working hard, and when they are releasing something everyone is shocked. So, ScooterposseLeipzig I have a question for u: What do u prefer,a ripped and quick made seller or a massive bomb created in at least 2 years?
All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.

For me it's totally ok that making an album takes time. This 2 years for Scooter ain't too much and 4 years for R+ was neither too much. Of course it's nice to get new albums every year but if they are made in hurry then it's not working. Fortunately Scooter's music has been good though IMO so no complaining about it...

OMG, what is the problem? We all know how Scooter works, and I don't have a problem with them releasing new stuff every year or 2nd year, cos IMO, they always manage to make great music. And the ripping part isn't extraordinary - most dance artists does it nowadays, maybe not as heavy as Scooter does sometimes, but still.

And the finished product is IMO satisfying, so I have no problem with it.
And if that makes me a "fanatic" fan, because of what I've said... well, I don't care.

If you love me or you hate me, I don't give a damn ;)

I'm afraid I really don't like them. Their shows look awesome but I hate this genre of rock, I appreciate the talent but the sound that comes from their instruments is not for me lol

i think they overuse the sound of the snare in the new album...

they should either change the way to play it OR buy a new snare :-D

They're implementing influences from other genres, but in the end, they play industrial metal.
