I have to agree with Fanatic - Rammstein works hard in the studio for years, to create 100 % own music, and they have alot more fans worldwide than Scooter, and more popularity.
I don't think it's strange at all that they are bigger and more selling than Scooter.

I agree as well... IMO R+ has really deserved their #1. But I don't mean that they are better than Scooter or something like that. Of course it would be a huge pleasure to a fan like me to see Scooter being #1 but Scooter's music genre ain't that popular WORLDwide. Heavy metal or industrial metal or whatever the Rammstein's genre is has much larger fan base. IMO we should be VERY proud of our Scooter being that popular in their OWN genre!!!!!!!! It's really something!

There's no need to hate R+ for their success. They aren't even aming success. They just happen to make music that people just happen to like for some reason. They aren't taking audience/fans from Scooter. I don't understand why to be so angry...

Scooter is the only band of which I buy albums :P

That said, I bought The Prodigy's last album - maybe I'll check Rammstein's albums on amazon.de, and buy some, if the music on the interests me...

Scooter, The Prodigy, Coldplay, and some other cd's I'm gonna give to a friend (never listening to them anymore).

I don't like them very much, but a few songs are really good made.

I don't think that you can compare Rammstein with Scooter.
The really really great thing at Scooter is, that they don't need years to release the next stuff.
Scooter is party music, a wonderful feeling with so much energy in it.

BTW: I heard that it will be the last album from Rammstein, because of such disagreements in the band?!

I don't actually buy much other albums than Scooter's but I do buy some singles and, naturally, vinyls. Those beautiful, black (usually, there are other colors too) vinyls which truly are the best way of listening music ^_^

Waiting for Scot Project's new album A2 though! 8)

I haven't listened to any Scooter stuff on vinyl - my grandmother has a vinyl player, but I haven't bought any Scooter album/single as vinyl, because I prefer cd's.

Is the sound quality/experience different on vinyls?

I think it is. You can hear, for example, some background sounds more clear. And of course a good sound system doesn't hurt either :D

And it's the feeling too 8)

Well, I understand what you mean, but I don't have a vinyl player myself, and I don't have space enough to start buying Scooter's stuff as vinyls. :P
