He has a problem with the 2nd cd on the new album, because there are only "old" songs in it.
There is no problem for me, because it's better than a single compilation and a "dark side of scooter" cd is a really good idea, especially for the newer Scooter fans.

Scooter wanted to show the other side of Scooter music, a friend asked HP why they don't make a compilation of tracks that people not instantly combine with Scooter, so HP thought it was a good idea, and they put this comilation as extra CD, to let people know what kind of other music Scooter also made during the year's ;) I consider it to be a good idea, I know all the old fans have the tracks and could make a compilation themselves, but yet it's nice to have an official compilation. And for the new 2007 fans, it's for sure also quite interesting, and maybe even a bit shocking, to see what Scooter can also make ;)

Furthermore on the "2 CD edition" is a DVD with some bonusmaterial attached....

The idea is probably good but there's just one problem with it. They who should buy the Limited edition to get this compilation aren't buying it 'cause they don't care having anything else than the new album or just singles. And we true fans don't need this compilation 'cause we already do have all these tracks. But yeah, I think i can get this CD to my car and listen it there though or something like that. But I think this compilation is a bit useless...

I think the Dark Side cd should have been included on the regular version, to make sure new fans could listen to the tracks.

Yes exactly. It's pretty useless in the box. The tracks are great of course but I cannot see any point of having them on many CD's...

The 2nd CD is not only in the box. And on amazon the 2CD+DVD edition is just one euro more expensive than the regular edition.

Yes, I would have preffered that. I have it as offical MP3, but would have loved to have it on an offical release too.

appologies for writing the orignal post in german language. I didnt want to offend anyone, just its ages ago I have been on here and didnt think about the scooter fans worldwide who are massively represented on this board.

it might explain the cd2 issue if you think of the new fans, but as someone said it before, why not put it together with the original cd? its nothing i want to pay for (again, again and again...). i dont bother about the dvd and therefore i will buy the regular version or maybe i wont buy even this. the merchandise thing is a good idea, but i think that isnt appealing to anyone over the age of 14 - not to me anyways.

Yeah I like the idea, always nice to bring back memories for long term fans and to introduce new fans to what else Scooter are capable of. Its not a new thing theyve done it in other albums. There was no point in doing another best of CD at the moment, JAOTW had a best of album as CD2. The merchandise appeals to me too, yeah ok it costs a wee bit more but a couple of extra things to wear to the gig next year ;)
