Let's talk about cars! (What are you driving?)

Hi!

As some of you might know, I'm a car person. I especially love Volvos! 8) So I was wondering could we have some discussion about cars? Surely there are other petrolheads here.

So what cars have you got? I drive a 2004 Volvo V 70 Titanium with a 2.5 low-pressure turbo engine, 210bhp and 320 of torque. 0-100km/h in 7.8 seconds with a automatic transmission, which is not bad from a heavy station wagon.

I must say I'm quite happy with this car. It's got lots of space, it's safe (haha, it's a Volvo after all) and it has stuff like electronic climate control, sport seats with black leather, decent sound system etc. as standard. It's a bit smaller than the first generation S80 I drove before but it's faster and newer. Here's a picture:

I drive a Holden Calais, Series II.
It has an ecotech engine. V6, 3.8 litre. I'm not really great with the engine stuff, I much prefer the interior. It has leather seats, dual air-con, both front seats are electric, it has 6 speakers with a 6 CD stacker by Blaupunkt :D

I love it! Here is a pic...

I've got Renault Laguna '01. It's not very good what comes to repairing it all the time but itäs a nice car to drive and very spacy too. That's important when you've got kids. Beutiful car but too much fixing in it... :whistling:

A friend bought a '99 Laguna a few weeks ago, he is really happy with it, although it had driven already 180.000 Km, but the car he bought a few weeks ago looked like new.

My Laguna is driven 151.000 km now and there has been some serious fixing many times already. But yeah, the car is very comfortable to drive so that's why I like it though. And it's good in the winter when there's snow and so on. It's a pretty big car so it's easier to drive in bad conditions as well.

Similar story. Dad curreltly owns a Corsa, and my stepmom has a Zafira. Before that they had three Astras (not at the same time though).
