Lighten Up The Sky - An apology

I have been listening to Scooter today as loudly as is possible to drone out my depressed thoughts, and I do now love the original version of LUTS, it practically blew my speakers away! Same with Hardcore Massive. I previously have said I didn't like either track, I was wrong. They are in fact fantastic, especially when played LOUD. All I wanted to say really...

Oh, that and "Oh lord everytime we cut the slack, always forward never ever going back" is still one of the greatest lyrics HP has written, and it's still a disaster to me that it was cut from the single version. :(

I see the 2 versions of LUTS as seperate tracks, and I must say I like them both, but prefer the New Version. 8)

The new version and the old version are so different. In my opinion, Scooter should have written a new trancey melody to go with the new version's great chorus refrain and just called it something else. Either way both versions are great but the originals a bit better. The Hardcore massive is an awesome track. The melody that comes in about two thirds of the way through is a little weird but I think it still works. Anybody saying this is the worst Scooter track ever obviously hasn't heard 'the leading horse'. Just writing it makes me feel dirty.

I know that feeling. "Everlasting Love" is a good example. When the album was out, I didn't like that tune. After years, I found out, that when you play this song very loud (especially over headphones), it has a fuckin' awesome drive and kick. =)

I try that with "Hardcore Massive" too, but this one didn't flash me. The original tune (Showtek - FTS (Harder Mix)) , where the melody was sampled from, has a better drive.

Yeah this track has some nice Hardstyle beat, with some wicked effects, it's rough!
But then again, the squeaky little girly voice comes in with the sweet love thing to destroy a track that could be one of the few harder tracks that Scooter did well...
Slipping sideways, silver stars collide
And fade away just like our love that died
And there is nowhere in this universe to hide
From you tonight...

Yeah, and it's working good with Scooter sound. For example 'All I Wanna Do', 'See Me Feel Me' and 'Everlasting Love' :) Really good stuff btw. And these tracks are growing on me more and more. Classy.
