I completely forgot, but in the May it was
10th Anniversary since I become a Scooter fan!

10 loooooooooooooooong and gold years!
The story goes like this:
Part 1 - Hearing Scooter for the first time and my first Scooter album
In May 1999, I heard "Faster Harder Scooter" and "F.u.c.k The Millennium" on the radio.
Immediately after that, I bought my first Scooter record, "Back To The Heavyweight Jam" album.
I was 12 years old then!

The album was so amazing, so different from absolutely everything else.
I was listening to it over and over again.
In the summer 1999 I heard a smashing song, a wonderful tune, astonishing peace of music playing in one bar on the beach. It was "How Much Is The Fish?", but I didn't know that for 2 more years.
Part 2 - How Much Is The Fish?
2000 was a year when "Sheffield" was released...I didn't have the internet back then, so I was checking music shops here and there and asked is there something new from my favorite band. I didn't bother myself with their older stuff, I thought it's not good (Oh, how wrong was I).
Some time passed, and I was bored of Scooter...I over listened my 2 albums and I turned away from Scooter.
While on the summer holidays in 2001, I have bought "We Bring The Noise".
The album was so refreshing and new to me...I heard HPV for the first time!

It was so sweet and catchy! "Posse" and "I Shot The DJ" were really brilliant tracks! (And still they are)
Somewhere around that time, I collected older stuff from Scooter (Illegal, not original).
Further on, "Push The Beat For This Jam" was released and that album was something really special...
Finally, I heard "How Much Is The Fish?" properly!!! I found that song! I was blown away...it was my favorite song on that great compilation album and it still is my all time favorite Scooter tune.
That was the time when I also found Scooter site on the net.
I remember how sad and angry I was when I have read that "Encore" (CD) has been released in Germany, and in Croatia it wasn't.
I was waiting for that album to come...and when I finally get it, I was very happy!
Also, I bought the "Encore" (DVD) and it was so spectacular to see the live atmosphere.
I started to dream...about me on the Scooter concert.
"24 Carat Gold" was a disappointment for me, because there were no new songs on it.
But, still it's a nice collection.
Part 3 - It's Weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
After the release of "Nessaja" I thought it's over with Scooter...it was a long gap between Nessaja and Weekend!.
I remember saying how bad it is that they have stopped creating music.
After long and sad waiting..."Weekend!" was released!!!
It became one of my all time favorite songs, and "The Stadium Techno Experience" album is still my favorite Scooter album.
Many memories are connected with that album.
And that was the point from which I started to check the Scooter site and forum (Just reading it) regularly. Also, I started to collect the older stuff from Scooter (Finally originals).
2004 was the year when I become a music fan...I listened many radio stations, I was reading music sites, watched music channels, checking UK and other charts etc.
"Mind The Gap" was a great album, and "One" is another classic which I will remember forever.
Also, I have bought my first ever Scooter single, "Shake That!".
Part 4 - I'm addicted!
By the time "Who's Got The Last Laugh Now?" was released, I have bought many of Scooter albums, and heard almost all of their songs.
"WGTLLN" was also one of my all time favorite Scooter albums.
In the end of 2006, except buying "Excess All Areas", I have finally become a member of the official Scooter forum with a help from Sebastian, Sandra and Britt! (Thank you!)
On the forum I have met a lot of great people...Edgar (Who helped me so much in my journey in Scooter's music), Traxx (A great guy for chat), Maddy ("JAOTW-WYW" - That's enough to say), Gee Tee Age (Next Scooter 3rd member) and many, many more.
Part 5 - Michael and the present...
In 2007, "The Ultimate Aural Orgasm" was released. There were 2 singles released from it, but I don't like them too much, although the album is great.
And then...something completely new and different...
When I heard "The Question Is What Is The Question" for the first time, I couldn't believe that Scooter has made such a "bad" song. After many, many good listens I started to really love the track and all the jumpstyle hype.
Today, "TQIWITQ" is one of my favorite singles.
"Jumping All Over The World" and it's improved version showed to all of us the success of Scooter.
The album was good, great in fact.
Part 6 - The present...
And, here we are...in the present!
The new album is out, I already heard it few times, and It's so good...no, it's not good, it's the BEST!
The point I wanted to say with all of this is that whatever they do, whatever direction they choose, Scooter will always be my favorite band, and guys will always be my favorite heroes!
Their music is unique, their music is magical and it really gives me the chills, damn good chills!
Ferris, Axel, Jay, Michael, and especially Rick and H.P. --> Respect to ya!
Never stop making music, because if you stop, my heart will stop too!
Together, no one can stop us!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There is no other band that can make me feel so special like Scooter!
Thank you for reading,
