It's alive, alive, the forum is alive-poll about the style

STyle of new album?

Option 1-Jumpstyle (because You don't change a winning horse)

Option 2-Hardcore ( because it's 15th Anniversary-going back to the roots)

For some reason the polls seem to not work well because of the bugs

I don't care about the style as long as it isn't jumpstyle and the music sounds good.

I still don't get why hate jumpstyle.. It's not very different to what Scooter has sounded before.. It seems to fit Scooter very very well.

I don't understand that either.
Jumpstyle may sounda bit simple, but it's more happy than other genres, happy like happy hardcore.

Though, I like the thought of harder tracks on the new album :D

I don't know yet -- but the name of the new single would suggest something hard (or alternatively old-school Scooter), not jumpstyle for sure. :D
 This is a signature.

So? That's only a little element in the songs. There are a lot more than just clap clap clap.

Open your ears. Maybe you are able to hear something else than clapping. For me, JAOTW is an album full of familiar Scooter-songs and sounds, but little rougher (which is always a plus) and yes, some clap clap sounds, which I don't find intimidating at all. Of course if you set your mind to hate the claps, you may not hear and enjoy the full musical experience. Then again, claps (or similiar sounds) are used in many older Scooter songs as well, do you hate those songs too?

if I open my ears I can hear the same sound sample in Question, Enola Gay, Whistling Dave, Neverending Story, And No Matches...
and nearly every song on JAOTW has this clap clap and that bothers me...
I don't want to say that claps are bad, but overusing them is bad...
JAOTW sounds to me like it was produced in a rush.

the good sites from JAOTW (for me) is that some singles were reproduced (JAOTW album version sucked balls...) and that the overall style is more happy and not that badass motherf****** style like on TUAO (although I somehow liked that aswell in TUOA and in WGTLLN...)

can we forget JAOTW now? It's almost 2 years old now...

Looking forward to UTROTT. new single sounds good to me "J'adore Hardcore" maybe smth. like one?
