As we all know, Scooter will make a cover version of the Fantastischen-4 track "Troy" for the Fanta-4 tribute album which will be released in August.

Could it be that this will also be the next Scooter single? Sido released a Scooter tribute song, so Scooter might do the same, and release a Fanta-4 tribute song. The release date would fit, what do you think?

Hm, sounds interesting

I'd rather want a real Scooter single than a reworked tribute-song, but how it will be, is anyone's guess.

Indeed, as Scooterworld mentioned in the other topic, the dates would fit! It could be a new Scooter single, or at least be found on the new album. They might have started the song a few months ago already, and worked on it during the process of making the new album, and so they may have made it so that it fits with the tracks of the new album. I think this song could be a bomb, if they've made it very different (and I bet they have) sounding than the original track. I'm very interested in hearing the track... "Troy" would sound great as a name for a Scooter track, I think -- quite powerful.

I think Scooter will use the original refrain of the 'Fantastischen 4' song "Troy", and around that will be some new MC lyrics from HP. A bit like the built up of "JTR" was. I think this song can be a great one, and I'm sure Scooter will make a totally different unexpected song out of it.

I must sort out some things...

Many people was not satisfied, when Sido did make a cover of "Move your Ass!" in a Rap Style. Now, scooter will do a cover of a rap song in dance style and everybody is happy??? You guys are really strange... :lol:

About the thing with Michael Jackson. No Way! When Scooter make a pure cover of a masterpiece track from him, I will quit! After 15 years of beeing a fan of the group, this would be the highest badest point after the last 2-3 years, where they scaled down already.

It's time, that Scooter will re-animate to the level, which they had during the years 1994 till 2002. Again a album full of rip offs and covers would be enough. A mix like in the past, where the first half was own stuff and the second half was some rips and covers would be a lot better. But this will never happen, because in the current situation, a fan can be a already proud, when he get a live album / dvd with 3/4 of the concert on it. :?

What's strange in this? Dance 2 Rap = Bad; Rap 2 Scooter Dance = Promising. So I don't see nothing strange here.

Scooter's part of the tribute album was mentioned as a "cover", so it's indeed possible it will be the next single
