Mom bought me and my sister tickets to yesterday's Himos Festival, so I got to see Scooter too! What a great show, I think!
Unbelievable it had been about 10 months again since I had last seen them... HP and the crew were very energetic, the sound was great, and the Finnish audience really loved the show. You could see the crowd go far, and the crowd jumped and flung their arms more than during any other act.
It was nice to see some fans had made a nice Scooter flag, others had a banner they showed to Scooter...
No new songs yet, but I strongly believe (I may be wrong, too) that they, in the sound check, played a small sample of a brand new song. There were no lyrics in that part, but I had never heard it before. Of course it could be some testing sounds they have made, but I doubt that, since always before I've heard them testing with real songs -- they continued the tests with Posse. But can't give more detail about that short piece -- my memory is vague, but at least it wasn't jumpstyle by the sound of it.
It's very clear that Scooter still has many many true fans in Finland! I really h9ope that our screaming and flangs and everything showed the band that we really really love them and I hope we'll see Scooter here the next summer too.

.....Interesting news Acid, was the sample you heared a bit hardstylish or more trancy?

Also, haha, yeah, that was me, Dave -- but I did not realize until now it was you, I thought it was just some random comment.
In every Scooter show I've been to I've heard that chant before the show (and during it).
This is a signature.

By the way, one could hear the usual düb düb shouts in the audience, there as well.In every Scooter show I've been to I've heard that chant before the show (and during it).

As for pics and videos, I had no camera or any other recording device... But one can find some videos from youtube, it seems. Here's One, for One: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gwQNGj7ZTwY

Yes, that's indeed the case.....it seems to be a tradition the last few year's to dub dub Maria on every show in the free moments.
And it was new for me 'cause my previous gig was really 8 years ago.
