21st sounds a good date, as there is also a gig on the 22nd, and the two Clubland gigs on 23rd and 25th, so it could get played a few times :)

Yes, AEM indeed posted a message from which one could conclude that Scooter will play new stuff on The Dome 51, and it indeed fits to the album release date mentioned by Scooter in some interview on the KONTOR.TV channel in Youtube.......but for sure a few weeks before the The Dome 51 show, we should hear a sample of some kind.....that most of the time is the case :P

It may be that they'll release the 1. single some days before the Dome 51, and then play it there, first time live.
Then, release the album in the beginning of September, before the tour.

About the new album. Since I heard that Dome Medley, I wish, that Scooter will release the studio versions of "Hyper Hyper 2004", "Waiting for Spring '99", "How much is the Fish?" (Jumpstyle Mix) and "The Leading Horse" (New Version). But like everytime, this wish is really only a wish, which will never happen. Or... ???

I wish the same, the live versions are good to have, but it would be even better to have the studio versions of that track's indeed.....I doubt it will happen, but we can hope for the best.....one day they should release this, the question is just when that day will be....but I'm sure we will get it eventualy.

I think he means the live version played last year. Nothing special just hmitf with another kick and bass, I don't see the point in releasing it.

They could release stuff like this in iTunes, I would gladly buy it. The JAOTW live version of HMITF? is excellent and quite dark, gives me the kind of vibes as The Night. They could rework even more of their old releases like this.

The new live version of HMITF? is, for me, the definite, best version of this song.

They could produce a CD 2 for the limited edition of the new album with re-worked tracks like HMITF? (jump), Stripped, WFS 99 etc..
But somehow I don't really like the idea of re-working old tracks, other techno/dance artists do this very often and the new versions are often even badder than the old versions. And you don't need to have a studio version of each tracks changed for their live shows - for this porpuse they record live albums like "Encore".

I hope they name it: We Quiet Jumping!

do you mean: we quite jumping?

I think he means: We quit jumping

No, I think he means that Scooter turns into a softcore band producing relaxing tunes with gentle beats that you can hop along a little.
HP provides sedating lyrics by whispering.

We Quite/Quiet Jumping is not proper English though

something i can agree with, that's a first with me and you

Well, it had to happen eventually :D

Well, that's true, but still it would be nice to have studio versions of them....but I'm glad that we atleast have them on live CD's. :)

I hope Scooter will never do the same like other dance/techno artists:
There are three versions of "Wonderful Days" (Starsplash) in between, there are over five version of "L'Amour Toujours" (Gigi d'Agostino) and Brooklyn Bounceare also producing re-worked tracks like "Louder and Prouder". And most of the re-worked tracks are not better than the original, but take the uniqueness of the original away.
Re-worked tracks are good for live shows, for fun (if you release a funny ballad version of a hard track like Maria) or if you really have a great idea to update/change an old track ("hey, song x with jump beats would sound fanastic"). But all the re-working should be in measures, there shouln't be "an annual acualization" of each hit.

Yes, it's always hard to top an original, when re-working a track one has to have a really good idea to make it better than the original was/is, and most dance-acts indeed make the re-worked versions worse than the original was.....

The re-work of HMITF (Live 2008) is a very good one, it made the track better in my opinion. So in some cases re-working a track can increase it's quality. But one has to be carefull and creative while re-working a track, otherwise one can destroy it with the new version.
