since 2001, when they released "Ramp! (The Logical Song)", they was never productive after that, to release a own song...

Ramp! (The Logical Song) is a cover so the newest own single is Aiii Shot The DJ.

Aiii Shot The DJ is a rip :D

you've probably heard I Shot The Sheriff by Bob Marley?

it's not a rip off from "I shot the Sheriff", but "Aiii shot the DJ" contains a Drum Loop from a KLF Tune and when I'm right, the Melody has build like in one of Moby's Tune (only the art of the melody is the same, but it's not a full kind of rip off)

it IS a ripoff - since HPV says "aiii shot the DJ" like "Aiii Shot The Sheriff" is sung in I Shot The Sheriff

Not sure i quite go along with that one, Bjarke mate. Aiii Shot The DJ was certainly more original than a lot of the singles that followed it - whether it's totally original i'm not at all sure. But even if it is a rip, it's a tasteful one, one that is done well, there are original parts in it and the track sounds complete, sounds as a whole.

I agree on that one - my main point is that it is not 100% original - but a killer track it is

OH wow, scooter uses samples and melodies that were taken from other songs like every other fucking dance artists out there does? Oh my god, what a surprise!!?

Only Scooter doesn't use the same sound, style, and music genre in every song. Go tell Rocco he ripped off Scooter, who ripped off Ultrasonic. Who cares? This is music, not detective work!!

You know, this is such a fallacy. A complete fallacy. No - not every dance artist does rip off others. A lot of dance artists do make completely original songs. A lot more often than Scooter do. Only artists that either have no ideas or are too hell bent on making money to take the time to develop any good ideas of their own rip people off as often as Scooter do.

Thanks for bringing up the same debates guys in a topic that said, "Who actually likes the single?" You know, I read the other topics so I know what you think. If you think that, fine. Does it need to be brought up everywhere?

Okay Crunyan, I like rave. I like Trance, you don't. So fucking what? I don't shit on you for listening to more laid back electronic music I might not like. I don't shit on my workers for listening to rap, which I hear for 36 hours each week unless I quit.

I don't shit on what you like, don't shit on me.

Hmm yes maybe i am being an elitest.

But i will say one thing. rap music, in its form today is some of the worst shit on the planet. Its music that says nothing about life, or anything that is important in our daily lives. It makes me sick and want to vomit. Even Rave music is better than that.

Haha, I think that's really far-fetched -- I don't think any other kind of music does it any better.. Most of the music everywhere tells about hate, sorrow, or some bizarre violent and/or sexual acts. (But I guess that's the real world, eh?)

it's from blue oyster cult-fear the reaper...remember the article which was titled: apollo 440 hat uns geklaut. scooter wanted to take the melody from apollo 440- ain't talking 'bout a dub for fire. but apollo was first. and probably they took more than just one melody from another band. maybe it's a sort of revenge from scooter.

te quiero for sure isn't original. vocals/lyrics are taken from a house track and the melody comes from yves deruyter-back to earth. it's sounds for 95% the same.
