Behind the Cow's piano

melody comes from Apollo 440's "Don't Fear the Reaper".

(just found this out the other day when checking out their first album)

Reading this reminded me of this video of Don't Fear The Reaper from a US TV show, the first minute is a bit boring, but it does get funny :)

BTW - I think Don't Fear The Reaper was a Blue Oyster Cult track orginally from their 1976 album Agents of Fortune :)

I didn't know that the sample was from Blue Oyster Club!
I knew it was a sample... But couldn't find out from what track it was.

I even found the record on a cd I've got over 12 years hahaha

Te Quiero rips off a little known song (can't remember what but it was posted here a while ago), and Circle of Light rips off the trance remake of the Braveheart theme that appeared in 1999.

But tbh who cares, lots of people rip off melodies including underground peeps. Chase & Status ripped off Metallica's Wherever I May Roam for their dubstep smash Saxon, the likes of the Freestylers and Bomfunk MC's (who's albums I recently discovered) rip off loads of old tunes, and sampling old 8-bit computer game music seems to be popular in the UK hardcore scene atm. (not to mention it's awesome)

If we must think in a logical way, they should have no own tracks at all.
But I'm sure there are at least 10 original songs, although many of the ones who you think are original, are actually not.
For example, everyone thinks Curfew is a great Trance piece, 100% own made and a great example of what they did during the 3rd chapter, although it's not like that.
Check this one : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zEYfJ51qASE
Sounds really familiar, eh?
And if you also check "Original Club Mix" and "Armin's Dub Mix" of this track, you will notice it even better.
Although this is not complete rip off, it's just an inspiration and it's done in a great way, if only they could get their inspiration from such stuff, instead Jeckyll & Hyde nowdays...
Slipping sideways, silver stars collide
And fade away just like our love that died
And there is nowhere in this universe to hide
From you tonight...

Inspiration or not, I think Curfew is great.
I've just heard it for the first time, though, on youtube

Having gotten it to work, sort of (stupid UK blocking, post non-official music videos next time plx) it's the same trick they used with Magic Impuls - Exposure for The Night...and afaik Scooter are the only ones who rip off modern underground tracks in this way.
