2 Unlimited live

Just saw them last night at I love the 90s and it was FANTASTIC! the pyro-techniques where the same like scooter uses them but the show is far more better. Ray and Anita gave hands to the fans which hp doesn't do at concerts or the other guys while they're faking the keyboards. what a voice and performance those 2 still have. they're much fitter than hp and their voice is much clearer and can do all the rhymes which hp couldn't during jaotw-live. probably scooter will be back in belgium next year. the crowd wants them. they played FTM and even Regi played hmistf? and behind him they showed the clip of hmistf? wicked night yesterday. videos will follow soon on youtube I guess. oh yeah...there's a big chance for new 2 unlimited material. Ray told us to check out the internet regular

I see I wasn't clear with my words. No ofcourse they didn't play scootertracks  It was a big festival with 90s acts & dj's (rozalla, ice mc, gala, ...) and dj ward and dj regi played scootertracks. Regi is the man behind milk inc, la luna,... It was just amazing how the crowd responded to those scootertracks and on the official website of the party a lot of people wanted scooter too. there will be a third edition of the party next year and my hope for scooter (bringing 90s hits) is big but now I'm thinking they might be on tour again so probably again no scooter in belgium next year.

but 2 unlimited was unique! a lot of energy, more than on a scooterconcert.

I missed them several times when I was young. I remember I was once in Switserland and I saw promotion for a concert there but my parents didn't want to go with me. I was really happy to see them Saturday. I was pissed I didn't had a ticket for the yesterday show. they're very friendly to the audience and are still very explosive and hot. the first vids are on youtube since yesterday but the quality is bad. probably 2 unlimited will tour more in the near future and bring new releases. although I don't know under which name cause it's not allowed to release something under 2 unlimited anymore and probably de coster/bauwens won't produce their tracks anymore so I'm a bit afraid if there's coming new material.

and to be honest, I missed a lot of acts during the 90s

that name is from the producers. the songs are available for anyone. anita sings 2 unlimited tracks solo but they can never use the name 2 unlimited. on the party they were presented as ray and anita, not as 2 unlimited.

Hey, it's good to hear that Ray and Anita teamed up again for this concert. They are no match to Scooter, of course, but they were one of the first dance acts I got to know and love and will always have a special place in my heart! :)

new material is really on it's way but I don't know from which producer. I just found on youtube a clip of an interview in a belgian radioshow a few weeks ago and ray said with a big smile that it was surprise on the question if there's coming new material. but man, the show was really fantastic. can't get it out of my mind.

Don't forget the tracks from around 1998 by 2 Unlimited... two girls were singing then...

yes, true but it was from the same producers as far as I can remember. I'm just a little bit afraid that the new work won't be that good as it's used to be.

Ihave to say I agree with your point of view concerning the distance Scooter put with fans during concerts, I think it's a pity they never come across the crowd (for a band who in each song talks about Posse, my crew, the crowd...), they seem to be... shy maybe ? :)

i have been at a few concerts where H.P. has come down to the crowd in front of the barrier, and I think if he was not careful the crowd would have dragged him over the barrier :)

It could also cause a crush in some audiences and be a bit dangerous if HP got too near, I would have thought ...

yes I knew it was going to happen. in belgium they announced it as a unique moment but I knew they would do more perfomances. I'm glad that I've seen them but I'm pissed about the price I paid for it. I really wanted to pay a high price too them but if they're performing more than once the organisation may not say that's it's something unique. it was only unique that I saw the first comeback performance. anyway, hopefully, they visit belgium and the world more often in the future.

I've only heard No Limit and a few other songs I don't remember, from 2 Unlimited.
They're not really my cup of tea...
