I didn't think the melody really fit though. And had no power at all, exactly the opposite of the Scooter version imo. Enola Gay is one of my favourites from JAOTW, so you're on weak footing arguing it's not very good with me.

Exactly my thoughts, btw...

ninja - you just have very low standarts for the music you listen to

that track was very popular here during the 90s. but it's not the first time that people from overseas argue about european dance music while they never were involved with the music in the period that it was hot. this is a remix and not the radio edit. but the remix is just so wonderful. It has a good build up and the melody is tranformed more than scooter's version. scooter did copy paste with the melody, with the basdrum, with background sound,... scooter's version was made in +- 4 hours. everyone can hear that.
scooter,come back to belgium!!!

So what? Tracks made in 1 day can be better than tracks made in 2 months, it just depends on the personal taste.

For me, Scooter's version is the best.

Not low enough to listen to your music, my friend.

I can't believe that, Belgium-Dave. I really can't. If that's your opinion, then ok, but I can't understand why you think that. I really don't understand what you're saying...
I actually quite like the OMD version too, I like both versions for different reasons.

We are talking about professionals here, not bedroom producers, so the thing about my music was a stupid statement.

I was drawing a comparison between stupid statements, you've made plenty of them, in my opinion, on this subject...

Hey, I don't want to argue with your sir, what's the point. If you don't like it, fine. I do, discussion over.

Go Fuller go! :D

Erm... I'm not sure what covers I'd like to hear. Maybe Petshop Boys, I'd like them to cover a British classic that'll be popular, or American. But it has to be a well-known song. But not too many on this album please.

I'd just like the theme to be happy but with loads of energy.

if I compare scooter's version of enola gay with zebras crossing the street than I can't believe both tracks are from the same band.

Actually, it's not the same band.
Back then Ferris was a part of Scooter, and even if the 3rd members don't really have the final word about releases, I believe that they have big influence on the music, just as much as Rick.
So Michael must be considered as a big mistake.
Slipping sideways, silver stars collide
And fade away just like our love that died
And there is nowhere in this universe to hide
From you tonight...

Michael is more Scooter than Jay. but both the problem with michael and jay is the money making theorie of the band. and especially jens thele ruins the band cause he has the latest hand in decisions. it's not michaels fault that they made a cover of enola gay.

You can never be sure who is responsible for this, but it's probably Jens Thele as you mentioned, that guy even looks like a money hunter lol
And I didn't focus on Enola Gay only, I meant the whole period so far with Michael is a mistake.
The only decent thing that he probably got the idea for, was Lass Uns Tanzen, that's all.
