Ah right i thought it would have been MUCH more in that area.
There are hostels that are VERY cheap but im sure you know what to expect there and maybe best suited to a group of people.

Things could be cheaper @ the other show counties but then you have transport costs.

I think as the saying goes if you want something you have to pay for it.
Hopefully when the dates are announced there will be one nearer to you and you wont have to pay so much 8)

Yes I don't blame you, even though I just live the other side of the city i had a lot more planned than just the concert.

So I can almost understand the doubt over rearranging to go to the next dates.

Yeah, I remember you saying that. Very unlucky!

I have also paid for hotel etc. etc. but skipped the trip...

Anyway, well, I have a very strong feeling that there IS a tour in this summer. Let:s keep hoping, with caution!!

Hi Guys,

Just got back from Dublin, minus the Scooter show. Great city, but very very expensive. Was payin 7 Euro for a pint of Guinness! I was chatting to this local guy who told me that was the goin rate and not just for tourists!

Great place to visit. Thats another city ticked off my European cities to go to before I die! :)

Yeah €7 for it in the city or a plub(pub night club) in the pubs where I live it is under €4.
I live maybe 30 minutes from the centre.

Yeah, Like anywhere I spose. In central London your pay anything from £4 a pint, but where I live about 10 miles out, its about £2.50

You'll get the usual story of the owners higher rent etc etc.
Its very much one of the reasons I hardly ever go into Dublin city on a night out,not to mention the costs of taxis.
