Ive gotten a news letter from clubland and just looked on their site and neither has a mention of the scooter dates being cancelled.

Any idea what's going on with the record company not posting this on their main page :?: :?: :?:

You mean AATW?

Yes well AATW is clubland so i just throw them together and forget to use the different names sorry

I wasn't making and AATW / clubland differentiation - it is on the Clubland forum - Rick did also put the announcement there as well as here, but when you go to Clubland.fm its a bit misleading that the first item on the home page is :

"Scooter Live Ireland Full Line Up Announced"

but any official communication has to be agreed so its takes time

I hope all sites are updated soon, and thanks Rick for telling us as soon as he could - he's the human face to fans

i think its nice to have a bit of corespondence from a higher power. shows that they're keeping in touch with the fans and keeping a grip on reality i guess.

maybe thats where aatw went wrong in the past. people had no idea of what was going on which led to assumptions and people getting angry.

i wasn't a mamber here then but i think a lot of uk fans wanted 'shake that' to be a single (great idea) and more promotion for jigga jigga.

Not wanting to get too serious here - but communication is soooo important in every aspect of life.

Even if you are not happy about something or disagree, if you have knowledge and an understanding it helps you to understand whythings happen which can prevent anger. Silence is the worst thing in so may situations.

So often there is a willingness and ease to communicate good news, but rather than communicate bad news some people to say nothing thinking that the problem will go away - but it won't it will fester and get worse - simple honesty with bad news may result in a bit of grumbling, but the negative undercurrent will not be there.

...sorry was not refering to any situation here - just life in general

Yeah, that can be very true, Sandra. I totally agree. And that's why I am so touched by Michael's announcement.

I have been away the past couple of days, and have only just seen this announcement! I am really pi*sed off! Having already forked out for a expensive hotel, flights etc and then be told the show/s are cancelled. Not good enough to be totally honest :? Especially when the shows are a week or so away.

Is every1 still goin to Ireland even though the show is not on?

I thought about going as I have booked everything, have arranged time off work and Will is on holiday, but I don't think we will go - if it was summer time I might have gone for the sightseeing etc, but its not so appealing in February to me.

Going to try to go to Germany for the festival in August instead and wait (with expectation and hope of something in the South of England) for the UK dates to be announced later in the year.

now is announced on the main site that the Irish dates will be part of a full UK tou in autumn 2009.
So Sandra you should be happy, you have every reason to be because Scooter is coming to the UK this year and u will have the chance to see the at least 3 times. I should be the sad one, nothing in the East Europe...

Just for info, as the discussion about this is being split between 2 topics I have locked the other.

There is some intersting stuff here:

http://www.scootertechno.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=16947

but it would be easier to keep to one topic about this now :)
