I hope you feel better soon Maddy!

I had a bad day yesterday. I went into my bedroom in my ground-floor flat and shut my door because I wanted to try a new Tshirt on I had bought and there is a massive mirror the other side of my door. Anyway, when I had finished and tried to open the door again, I found that I couldn't. The door had locked itself solid and nothing I could do would make it open. I was trapped!!!

So, I had to climb out my window to get myself outside, knock on my neighbour's door and phone my parents so they could come round with my spare key. We then had to force the door open once back inside. All very troublesome!! :?

It was indeed very strange, but when we took the lock off, the bit inside which controls the mechanism (I don't know the word for it  ) was in tiny pieces, like it had rotted away. Anyway, I have a new lock now and all is well again! :D

I am way too tired to be awake. I worked on new years eve for 9 hours. Started at 2am. And for new years eve I went to a friends place for dinner and drinks and ended up going into Melbourne city to see the fireworks. I got back to my friends place and continues drinking until 6am and went to sleep until 12pm. And now I have work tomorrow at 5am. Man I'm stupid

My glandular fever doesn't get better and I'm as tired (can't go out, can't concentrate too long, can't run, can't walk fast, can hardly stay on the net either....). Thing is that I do not faint anymore and I can eat a little now. It's better than eating nothing.

Then I heard it would need over a month until I get better.... DAMN IT ! :x

Probably the first time for a good few years I didn't have much to drink, so no sore head this year

Last time I drunk for NYE was in 2005  I stopped drinking since June 2006 (had a hangover then in Feb 2008 but that was it).

So bad things regarding drinking are impossible to me 8)

Nic : Best is to have a sandwich before going to bed after drinking... It sponges some alcohol. Then drink water water and water ;) Be better soon !
