As if I needed another reason to hate Radio 1

When I was driving home from uni I was listening to Radio 1 (God knows why) and Edith Bowmen said that she was going to the country(side) to do some Christmas shopping.

She then laughed and then said to herself as if she was talking to a friend, "Would you like a picket fence for Christmas?"

It's not like we're isolated to the rest of the UK living in the countryside. Radio 1 are getting so rude with their commets recently.

The only good thing I heard her say was that she didn't like Basshunter's new song, but who does?

Grrr! :x

Sadly, most of the DJs on Radio 1 think themselves so powerful, they can say what they like. :(

from the (thankfully) rare times I listen to radio 1 it seems that they can indeed say what they like, as often, and for as long as they like - some of them seem to talk a lot more than they play music - and usually about their favourite subject - themselves!

As long as I've been listening to radio here, Scooter have never been played.

I think Radio 1 has some good late night dance shows. When it is say 1 in the morning you are likely to get some good long mixes without much of the presenter going on. And as there is no ads, the mixes are longer aswell

Yeah over here we have a radio station called Nova. It sounds like the equivalent to Radio 1. And at 2 or 3am they have good long mixes. I don't get up to listen to them, I am usually at work lol.

Here we have a few good radio stations, with nice hosts and lots of fun, but they only play pop music and such crap

i love friday night shows on radio 1. especially the new dj, kukski or something. hard dance and hardstyle for about 2 hours. great to listen to when going home from work. and they played LUT (Zany Mix) on there once.
