I think he is a way over rated DJ and I think that PVD and Armin Van Buuren are both better.

But then again I don't even like them that much either. All of my fav DJ's are no where near the top on the official DJ list.

Mallorca Lee, David Forbes, Mark Sherry, James Allan, Mischa Van Der Heiden, Special D, Bone Breaker, Balloon, Warp Brothers..... just to name a few.

Flight 643, Urban Train, Lethal Industry and Walking On Clouds are masterpieces. The others are cr4p.
Shame on him that he became such a fashion-artist.

I'm a Tiesto fan. Started to love him after Traffic and Love Comes Again. But what I really love is his newer stuff, except some remixes he did for crappy pop artists like Britney (damn that remix is incredibly bad).
Elements of Life is an incredible album, Tiesto shows some class in great House music there also. And having BT listen as a co-writer for some tracks and also appearing on Break My Fall just makes it even greater in my eyes, I also love BT and his music.
Also the Remixed version of the album, which includes remixes from top DJ's is pure gold, nowhere near the sad Scooter remixes that we had from the recent years, coming from average to bad producers.

Just listen to this : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OuP5bkQm6NY
No need to speak more, Tiesto is really a Trance magician.
Slipping sideways, silver stars collide
And fade away just like our love that died
And there is nowhere in this universe to hide
From you tonight...

I don't like his music, at least not the tracks I've heard.

Me neither, I think he is a bit overrated as DJ.

I have seen Tiësto once and he's ok, but there are much better djs than he is. For example finnish Dj Orkidea is much much better

Yes. Other DJs are really better.

well, I agree but don't forget about "Close To You" another masterpiece. The latest releases are not so good...I like only "In The Dark" with Christian Burns.

He's OK but indeed over rated....... I personally don't listen to any music of him, only when something is on the radio I hear his music. I don't like it very much, it's OK, but nothing more. :?
H.P.'s "The Voice" - "The Myth" > He stands out all above the rest, blonder than the best! :D

voted "he's ok" because I think his music is ok but nowadays he's just a "media star".

There's a Polish Radio Station where he has his set at the radio jockey said while playing his track(as I remeber it was Elements of life) "if you want to be a very good dj you must listen to it over and over again, because it's just gorgeous",it goes to far...

by the way,Tijs' dj name is written like this Tiësto,is there any special way to read his name because ot this ë or is it just an accent sign?
