The New Album (2009)

Is it too early for this topic? :D I'm too damn excited.

Anyways, I thought we could just as well begin one, as it's now definitely official: they're currently working on new songs and the next album will be released next year (2009). HP told this in an interview, see this topic: http://scootertechno.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=16507

As for predictions for what the new album will be like, go nuts. :D I think it will be massive. I just have that feeling...

I don't mind 1 more jumpstyle single, a bit similar to the style of the old Lighten Up The Sky and JTR (WYW).

Otherwise I hope the album generally will be a mixture of the styles from TUAO, WGTLLN? and TSTE, maybe with a touch of WBTN.

For some reason, I hope it will be a title with 1 or 2 words in it
I'm kinda sick of titles with 4 or 5 words for a while now

It's hard to predict what it will sound like, but I think we will get a few jumpstyle influenced track's.....and I think they will also make track's that they think could be succesfull in the UK, so its very possible that we get some bagpipes again or that some old Brittish folksongs will be used + maybe UK related tracknames....... :P
H.P.'s "The Voice" - "The Myth" > He stands out all above the rest, blonder than the best! :D

Interesting, I didn't even think about that -- but now when I do, yes, the album might have more UK influences than usually. That'd be cool. :D I also think there will be a few jumpstyle influecend tracks, but most of the album will be in different styles, I believe. I hope they'll top TUAO with it. JAOTW was good but not as good as that, so I hope they'll once again show they can top themselves. :D

The problem is not jumpstyle - it's scooter's jumpstyle. In my eyes Jeckyll & Hyde make much better Jumpstyle (Tracks like Moving Time are adorable!). A Co-production of Jeckyll & Hyde and Scooter would be really cool. But as far as I can remember Michael made Progressive before he switched to Jumpstyle (Simon & Shahin, right?). So some Progressive Tracks would be cool, too. Any clue in which quarter it comes out? :?:

I would bet on the first quarter. Usually when Scooter gets into studio it won't take long to hear some results.

Yeah, but I would love a release in the 2nd or 3rd chapter and 1 single about a month before the album.^^

The Question was released over 3,5 months before JAOTW, so it's possible the first single is released a month or so earlier.
Would be good too, not so close on the releases

Until we get some more info about a (possible) release, I don't expect a release before mid-summer.

I want something big,dangerous,rough and crazy! :)

The new album should have:
1. Original cover with cool design!
2. At least 14 tracks!
3. Mixture of styles. (Not only jumpstyle or just trance...well,you got the idea. )
4. Songs with crowd singing part, like "How Much Is The Fish?","Faster Harder Scooter","Maria","One" etc.
5. At least one song like "Leave In Silence","Dancing In The Moonlight" or "She's The Sun".
6. Quality instrumentals with great melody's. (Like "Lighten Up The Sky","U.F.O. Phenomena","Soultrain","Devil Drums"...)
7. Collaboration with Depeche Mode (Similar to this with Status Quo). It would be so great to have a song like this one:  "We Want More! (Just Can't Get Enough)".
8. To be cool and original! (I don't want them to be impressed by success with the last album and to make another one with many U.K./jumpstyle relations!!! )
I don't have anything against U.K. and I love the "JAOTW" album, but I want the new album to be good and not again in "trend" album!
9. No 100000000000000000000000 versions of one album, but only "normal" and "limited" editions.
10. Limited edition to contain a bonus disc with "NEW!" songs which didn't make it on the CD 1 of the album! Or combination of new songs, remixes and live tracks.

That's what I want! 8)
Do you agree?!
We don't need a knife, we don't need a gun...all we need is Scooter and some fun! :)

We want more (Just can't get enough) sounds cool - but I don't belive that this track could be done any better. different, yes, but not better.

A Scooter meets Jeckyll & Hyde would be nice.

A Second CD like on TUAO sound good. But the second CD could also be the missing "Best of the 3rd Chapter" -> You know there have been RATAD and PTBFTJ, but no 3rd Chapter best of ...

First of all...welcome to the forum!!! :)
I agree 99%!
Originals are almost always better than their cover versions, but Scooter guys can (Not definitely, but maybe) surprise.
And your idea about the 2nd disc is nice.

i agree on that too
a bonus cd with all singles and b-sides
but due to all the hits on JAOTW its doughtful

and i think a cd like sheffield would be great in terms of variety
1,intro something radical like mc's missing or relaxed like wicked or the begining of ATBGO
2,some classic scooter
3,more classic scooter
4,jump/hardsyle
5,trance instramental
6,house rock like fire
7,ballard like stripped and break it up
8,a bit of drum and bass
9,a rough hardcore tune
10,we are the greatest style track
11,jump/hardstlye
12,a relaxed trance tune like cubic
13, the outro

I would prefer an instrumental instead of the outro, or a good instrumental-similar outro, not like the shit in-/outro on JAOTW.
