Official news of the upcoming JAOTW package

Fresh off the main page:

Quoted

September 26th sees the maybe most unbelievable collaboration in music history: Scooter team up with UK rock legends Status Quo to release their version of "Jump That Rock (Whatever You Want)" - and this one is a real blast! But that's not all, because one week later, on October 3rd, there will be the release of an extended version of the album "Jumping All Over The World".
This extended version, called "Jumping All Over The World - Whatever You Want" will be released in three different set-ups. The standard version includes all tracks from "Jumping All Over The World" plus seven "Hands On Scooter" bonus tracks. These tracks are reinterpret Scooter songs performed by well known artists such as the Bloodhound Gang. There will also be a second disc with the greatest Scooter tracks of all time, the new single together with Status Quo and another bonus track.
The premium version offers, next to the two CDs from the standard version, a DVD with Scooter "Live From Berlin", recorded on August 1st 2008. The third set-up, called deluxe edition, is a must-have for all fans and will only be sold at selected stores. Next to the two CDs and the live DVD there will be another DVD with all previous music videos, a limited fan t-shirt and a signed autograph card.

I don't personally care to have a greatest hits cd or music video dvd, but I'm well interested in HOS tracks, that 'another bonus track', Live From Berlin, and, the limited fan t-shirt and a signed autograph card. :D The price is not bad, I should place my order soon... :D
 This is a signature.

Remember it's still JAOTW and not a new album, that greatest hits cd was part of the 2-cd JAOTW edition.

I'm so dissapointed!!! Really dissapointed!!! But also I can see, that Scooter forgot their old fans. :( :( :(

Why got the Deluxe Edition again all 20 Top-Ten Hits and a DVD with all music video? That's the biggest shit ever, really!!!

I was really thinking, that the 4 Disk Edition will have on CD1 the Album JaotW, CD2 Hands on Scooter, CD3 reworked and unreleased Tracks and CD4 (DVD) the Live Concert from Berlin.

It's the next dissapointed release! Since 2002, they are big "money wan]kers". Only seven HoS Tracks, because with including the HoS CD, nobody would buy the standalone cd. That would not give enough money into our pocket.

Poor Scooter, Poor!!!
I was thinking, that the guys have find back a bit to the normality, but forgot it, they are and will be still "Money Wankers"

I want the old crew back. There wasn't poor releases!!! :(

So will this HOS http://www.amazon.de/Hands-Scooter-Various/dp/B001EICCV2/ref=pd_sim_m_2_img become obsolete now? :?: Or are they going to release a version with more tracks, now? :?
 This is a signature.

nothing more to say. and why the outdoor berlinconcert :? it's for weeks on youtube already so why that concert? there are plenty of others. I really hope for a dvd with ntcc, aol and sheffield tour on it and maybe some performances of the friends tour. there was a frenchfan who had videos from 'we take you higher'. those were tracks and cool setlists. now it's always the same and everytime they play fucking weekend, maria and one :( also hos-project ain't a project if it only has 7 tracks. why waiting so long for a few tracks:s and it seems they won't be that long cause there on the album cd. so +- 3.30 min for a track.
scooter,come back to belgium!!!

I already placed my order on Amazon, because there was written that only certain shops have the LTD edition. I'm also really looking forward to the HOS track's + the mysterious bonus track (which could in fact be a UK remix of I'm Lonely I think).

completely agree.

I had the hope of an completely new album with NEW tracks. The 4th chapter should be damned. Nothing against michael, he's great! SOne songs are great, too. But in no chapter ever they produced songs so bad and tried to sell every song 2 or 3 times. thats really poor.

Hey! Why did Elastic2Plastic stop? I would spend my money on them by buying theire albums and singles, because this is the style i loved on scooter so much. But I do not believe in scooter anymore that they will bring out some of theire oldstyle-songs again....

I haven't ordered anything untill now and I'm really fighting with me wether buying the single or not... maybe I will buy HoS, too.. but i Woun't buy a second time jaotw

@Rotty and the others:
Who said that there will be a album with "completely new songs"?
It is only a new JAOTW version with Hands on Scooter! The t-shirt and the berlin concert is a nice present for the fans.
A new album will be at stores next year I think!
So don't speak rubbish, it should a new version of JAOTW and nothing more! :P In my eyes it's a good idea!
And I don't want to see the shit at youtube, the DVD will be much better!

Nothing more to say, fuck off!

EDIT: And nobody said, that you have to buy this, but if you are interested in a limited t-shirt, the berlin concert on a real DVD and Hands on Scooter, buy it! :)
Please don't bleat like a goat every time, it's only ridiculous!

Indeed, and a seperate DVD of the concert would have cost us also around 18 Euro's and a T-shirt around 20 euro's, so in feact we get the rest for free in a way, so it's a great thing for the fans. And indeed it's not a new album, it's a new edition of the album to celebrate the succes of Scooter this year. Next year for sure we will get something new

I think its great :D

Before there were complaints that Scooter did not include a DVD with a CD release - well they have now - not only a live concert - but another with all the single videos, this, plus the CDs, a T-shirt and an autograph card, in short we have :

- an album - JAOTW plus the HOS tracks,
- a CD with the greatest tracks, (it doesn't say the top 10 hits so will be interesting to see if it is the same) plus JTR(WYW), and another bonus track,
- A live concert on DVD
- A DVD with all the Scooter videos
- A T-Shirt
- An autograph card

...all for the price of 27.99 euro - what more do you expect? - it sounds a fantastic package to me and great value! :D 8)

That's right!
A lot weeks ago, there was a limited "Future Trance" package with a t-shirt, too. It costs nearly 50 euro
So the price is really good, for two cd's and two dvd's, one t-shirt, one autogram card!

Yes the price is indeed nice and i expected that it will be only uninteresting stuff on it but had the hope that the JAOTW album is reworked like it was said before. Now it's totally uninteresting except the WTW Single.

When I hear, that one of my favourite band release a 4 Disk Edition, I expect a lot. But not 2 Disks with best of content!!!

And about the T-Shirt. Would be a T-Shirt from Maddy in it, it would be interested. The Shirt in the package is crap.

I hope, that someone will upload a nice DVD Rip of the Berlin Concert, because I will buy not a edition. For around 30€, I expect a lot better Stuff instead of a small HoS Part, a greatest hits and music video disk.

Scooter should inspire a bit from Moby. He doesn't do this. He release a album, 6-12 months later a DVD+Bonus CD with Remixes or unreleased Songs.

thats right

other artists release theire albim a second time, too, but a remixed edition, which is interessting. and they do not release every 2 albums the bestoff-tracks again and again...

ok, r&t&d + ptbftj are some albums with bestoff, but this are albums with really good extras and they were at the end of one chapter.

Well, I must agree with that, I also hoped JAOTW track's would be re-worked but they apparently are not, atleast nothing is mentioned, I still have a litle hope that some track's are re-worked, but it's very very very uncertain.... rather not I'm afraid...:?
