They look great, but it's far to expensive for me :( Is it sure that it are originals?? I would love to have them, but I won't pay so much for it.......... I wonder who's selling this, maybe Ferris ???? Could be....... Great to see picture's of the awards :P

It's always hard to say on Ebay if it are fakes or not, especially with this ones, but I'm sure no one will buy them fast at this price, even we collectors, it's far to high, maybe if they are real they are worth it, but I would never buy them, it's toooo much..... but for sure I would love to have them, but it will be a dream forever. :wink:

Very expensive - I seem to remember I paid less than 100 Euros for my Friends gold record - not sure but I think it was 80 euro, and I paid £50 each for my UK awards (TLS 400,000 and PTBFTJ 100,00)

I think even if they are genuine that is too much by far

It would have also been much better if the seller had a close up of the what was written so we could get a much better idea exactly what it is.

@aem - can't you pop down to the Scooter studio and take a picture of the real ones there ? :lol:

I also have a feeling he expects to sell them for far less than the Buy It Now price, looking at his history

Thanks mate, but I'm really hoping he doesn't! :lol: I think they're real though, they look good. I'm worried by what AEM said though. Looking through his history, I'm confident enough. Besides, he says they're real. If they're not, that's fraud. As far as I am concerned they're real, so. 8)

Its for 100% sure not a fake. And to tell some of you guys who never have seen a gold award before:

1st: Gold records/platin records always exists more than 3x or 4x (not only for HP,Rick, Ferris, Jens) Often they exists like 10x for additional label partners. I sold a Fire gold award 2 jears ago and it was for a person from Edel I don't know before. And my Endless summer gold award is also from a label worker.

2nd: The Vinyls are always real gold discs (not like spraying with a can and than it looks golden...)

3rd: You can't play them!

4th The small circles differs from the normal vinyl releases

5th: The inner very often look like the real german vinyl (Site A). And the vinyl always has an hole in the middle

6th:But for me the price is also to much. I think it worths like 300-500€- important is the condition of the award and the seller says only "good"

guess you were not around back then.....

Scooter themselves auctioned a Gold CD (autographed by them) of PTBFTJ in aid of the tusami appeal in 2005.

It was the year of my Silver Wedding anniversay - and instaed of a trip to Las Vegas to renew vows etc ( which I must admit hubby was not over keen on - apparently her had already married me once - wasn't that enough?) he agreed I could try to win this Gold CD

I would never ever pay so much normally - but it was in a very very good cause - so I won the Cd - at a cost of 2,500 Euro :D - and it hangs on my wall just now :)

hehe - just been reading that 3 year old topic - reminded me of the great feelongs back then :)

But I would never have paid so much if it was not a xharity auction donated by Scooter - and after more than 3 years I think the gold CD is better than a holiday :)
