we certainly ain't the same. I'm not blonded to look like HP like a lot of fans in here. and maria is really the downfall of scooter together with one. you can go on forever making tracks like these. what's next: have you ever been mellow?, hardcore vibes, everybody on the floor, wonderful days, tears don't lie,...
please stop complaining about older fans who know what scooter really stands for. thanks to us newbies can listen scooter!

well, i've been a fan since Ramp! The only reason for this being that time is because I was like 10-ish! Since then I have discovered all their tracks from new and old. I loved Maria before I'd even heard of the chapters, I thought they were all the same.

I joined the forum in March 2007 but didn't post 'til December. I prefered to just read to find more about the band I love. Now I feel as if I'm the same as everyone else here.

But if you wanna pretend that you're something special because you've been a fan longer (mostly to do with age) then go ahead because I have better thing to do with my time than to squabble over who's the biggest fan. So, whatever! :?

so newbies can blame older fans but older fans can't blame newbies??? I just was defending rotty cause I think he's right and he has enough reasons to wine about the band from the last years. of course everybody loves another track. that's why scooter was always great. they did a lot of musicgenrens. but tracks like one and maria really pissing me off. it was 1998. hmitf? top 3 in belgium and I like it loud also. those were times. even yesterday they played the marshall masters track on a party. and than you go to a scooterconcert. and what do you hear and see? blond people singing dub-dub-dub. scooter came up with a new whistling jumptrack from which only 1% of the crowd knows that's it ripped again without inspiration. and than I may not complain? do you know how far berlin and bremen are from my town, I live near brussels? do you really think I want to drive so far just to see this when they had great shows in the past. check the 2000 concert from moscow. they did differents things with a lot of tracks. really worth the money I my eyes.

Well, this year was my first Scooter concert, and Im already a fan since 1997, but I really enjoyed it and for me it was worth every penny. But the concert from Moscow 2000, was indeed great, with lots of live music etc..... But still this year's concert in Hamburg was unbeleivable great, maybe because I have been there, I don't know, but I really enjoyed it hugely, and still get excited when I think about it. 8)

We are all Scooter fan. Yes we are all different ages but age or the amount of time you have been a fan of Scooter does not justify who is the biggest fan. There are indeed new fans and they in time will discover other Scooter tracks they have not heard before and then they will make their decision of which chapter they like the most. Opinion cannot be wrong my friends! :D

probably cause it's your first gig  I had that feeling too in 2004. but really, in stead of the good sound and great laser/fire show it was really bullshit with those jumpers. than the jumpingcontest. a jumping medley with a new totally ripped song. If you live in belgium than you would understand why I hate these jumptracks. the spirit from zebrass crossing the street and the mission is really gone.
btw better stay on topic now. but also that's stupid again cause this is again a wortheless topic. there are thousands of these. better make a topic when there's actually news...

You can't blame newer fans for liking only the recent tracks, every one is different.
I'm a fan since 4 years and I like the 2nd chapter most and I'm not keen on the new stuff.
So it's not possible to put everyone under one significant, there are always exceptions to every rule.

Exactly. I remember a time when there were more fans from the beginning on Scooter boards. They complained about the sound of the second chapter and wanted Ferris back. A bit later people complained about the sound of the third chapter and wanted Axel back. These days there are fans who complain about the fourth chapter and want Jay back.
It's a neverending story.

Agree
Riding with me is my friend R.J.Jordan,
Knowing the rules aint part of his program,
Finding the right tune that fits the track,
Might be pretty hard cuz he's f_cked on crack!

Start the match and find the station
Reach what you can and party the nation,
A? Hey! Whatcha gonna say?
I automate the sequence and speed for my getaway
Take it to the edge, there's nowhere to hide,
And call up the crew; let's go for a joyride!

Let's go for a joyride!

Very well said, it's 100% the truth. They can't please everyone, there's always someone that don't likes what Scooter do, in every chapter that was the case. And about Elvis, " Elvis just left the building, please try again "

Hey, don't be so harsh on newer fans. They have begun to listen to Scooter with other track's than older fans did, and everyone has memories of the beginning of listening to a band

Yes,naturally, for each fan there's a different chapter that is his favourite-mostly it is the same chapter when he became a fan.

Of course, with time, the fans can change their minds, but still down in the heart, the favourite chapter is the one when a fan became one of the Scooter Posse.

i became a fan in the 3rd chapter, when i started realising about scooter.

I have no real favourite chapter, in every chapter I have my favourites and less favourite songs or albums. There is no chapter which I really don't like or which I prefer to another chapter. I get surprised in every chapter by the Scooter sound 8)

I rediscovered Scooter during the third chapter 2005/06- as there was no big call for Scooter around 2002/2003 it was hard to find anything to do with them, especially with no internet.

I do love the third chapter but I have become more heavily involved in the 4th chapter and I like the happier style they have now so my favourite chapter is the 4th.

Each chapter has awesome stuff, but I like most whichever is going on at the moment, when I got into Scooter it was 3rd chapter and it was then my favourite, but now my favourite is the 4th, for the same reason -- partly for the reason that the future is unknown, and when a chapter is in progress you can never know what they'll do next! :D Even if I like the older stuff, I also think they have progressed with each album. TUAO is my favourite album by them so far -- JAOTW sounds great (and has grown quite a bit on me during this time), but I don't like jumpstyle more than the styles present on TUAO, so I hope they'll do something like that again next. :D

toally agree with you- i'm still crazy about TUAO, such diversity of tracks. It's a dream album and whenever people ask me about previous scooter albums to recommend i say this one first, then TSTE :D

If Scooter do stay with Jumpstyle I would love a HeadHunters-style B-side. I've recently bought quite a bit of their music and I must say I'm very impressed. :D
