HP - Rude Much!

Sandra, Ive been reading your diary and I am shocked at HPs behaviour at times. Alot of your dates say that Jay and Rick waited and spoke to you after shows whereas Hp legs it and gets into a car and is driven away. Why does he not make the effort with fans?

Its not that way - you understand wrong :)

Because H.P. is the "front-man" a lot of fans just want to get to him - so thay wait for him - if he stopped he would probably have a whole lot girls trying to get their hands all over him, when he has driven away the girls tend to go - because a lot of them only want H.P.

Because Rick and Jay (as it was at most of the concerts I have been to) don't have so many fanatical female fans trying to get to them they are happy to stop and talk to the lesser number that wait for them and want to talk about the music :)

Also Rick and Jay were always later coming out of the hall - most fans left when H.P. left :)

I think anyone would have a problem with a large munber of uncontrolled people trying to get to him / her. It could be a question of personal safety :)

In a more controlled environment like an autograph session for example he is friendly and talks to people :)

Do girls not jump/lean over the table to reach him then?

it must be a tough job to be the frontman after all, even though you have to experience it for yourself to fully know what it's like

yes - I came to that conclusion on the 2006 tour - everyone recogised H.P. and wanted to go to him - Rick and Jay. although as important in the band are not so much in the public eye and are able to move around much more easily.

I think on tour H.P. has a difficult job - all the time he is in the public eye and people want to go to him :)

I would love so much to meet the guys...........and as much as I love HP he would be safe with me I am so shy in real life that I would be more prone to fainting upon seeing him than lunging after him.   But I fear all the ladies are not quite so demure as I am and would tear the poor bloke to pieces....I don't blame him for running I think I would too. :D
It's nice to be important but it's more important to be nice.

Liquid Base Babe, HP's on my mind.

Yes it's a very tough job to be a frontman, everyone interviews you and knows you and wants you. You have to keep your style to stay recognisable. And mostly people only know the frontman of a band. It's a very hard job, it looks like fun, but it's very hard work in reality.

i think of one very good reason HP runs for it there is always after Scooter concert certain attention from fan that no one would want :-)

Then there are some fans they might know, they might recognise them and get more scared... who knows ?
I would be very scared myself doing such a job... You can get easily into danger because too many people focus on him only, so if he ended like in a street with too many people, that would be SCARY... The fans don't want to harm their star but they would do, some of them are crazy, and I'd probably be too scared to do this kind of job, ... I think you really must have friends with you to help you cope with it.
Their schedule is certaintly very hard, and I think it's already great that they aren't rude (like some people I won't mention) and actually say HELLO !

Yes :)

as I remember the first time I met H.P. was after a concert in 2004, when just a small group of us were outside the hall, he stopped to talk to us and was very friendly :)

I doubt in the US anyone would recognice Scooter let alone H.P. Sure in a Euro Chicago or N.Y club yes, but the average Joe on the street would have NO clue.
