In January I will become a father. We already know this for some weeks but of course first I had to share this with my family.
Everything seems okay so far. We got some ultrasonic pictures 2 weeks ago. It was already 7 cm tall. We dont know yet if its a boy or a girl.

Congrats on both Xer. :D

My good news feed:
- I got into my teaching degree and got granted a scholarship, so in 5 years from now I might be a spanish/english teacher for youths aged 16-18 if I manage to complete it all. :D

Thanks Liss.
I hope it goes well for you,I worked as a teacher aid in English for kids in these ages.
It was OK,and I saw what an important work English teachers do.
A good English teacher can influence a lot on your life, because these days you need (more than ever I think) good knowledge of English.

So go for it,Liss.

Baseline, you got me drooling,I wish I could go to Teneriff now.

Thanx Sandra.
What's going on with the floods in England?

I really want to visit London, but I see there are floods,so I decided to postpone it for next year, also we suppose to get cheaper flights from Israel to London, for around 200$ (now it costs around 500-600$),
so what is the best time to visit there,is there a time in the year when the weather is nice,so it's possible to travel there?

I don´t know much yet except the standard phrases, but you might have to help me out a bit to learn quicker. I´ll chat with you on msn when I get things set up. There´s still another application process to go through before I´m sure I can do spanish since I have no knowledge of spanish before, but I´ll know for certain aroung aug 20th when school have started. :)

Congrats on the boy Hennes, that is such awsome news! (the work permit is also good tho)

Xer: I know, I´d love to be able to influence young people´s lifes just in the ages when they need influence at the most. I just hope I´ll be a good influence and not the wacko scooter loving teacher, ha ha..

I reackon summer weatherwise will be the best for visiting London, but I went there in late Nov/early Dec and loved the streets set up with Xmas lightning. :) It was such a great sight. Worth concidering. ;)

In England you can never be sure of the weather - but depends what you want to do.

The current floods are not in London (and I hope they stay that way), but I think anytime is good to visit, especially if you want to see the normal toursit attractions - although probably best to avoid the schol summer holidays - mid July to end August - but as Liss says Christmas time with the lights, shops etc can be good :)
