German football interests me, but the names of the clubs baffles. 1 FC Koln being the main one. What's with the 1?! :o

Next Season will be hard. I think, that Bayer Leverkusen will have good chances for winning the league. They have already buy good players. When the new and old players find a good harmony, then it can work. (OK, I'm a 1. FC Köln Fan, but Leverkusen have a good team too.) Also Schalke, Bremen and Stuttgart will have again a big chance for winning the league. And don't forget Bayern München. Will be hard for them, but when they can find the Agressive Art from the old times back, then they will dominate again.

And Nürnberg. Well, they have again chances for a Uefa Cup Place.

munich, what a hell of fantastic players they are buying this year - BUT it is about team spirit as well and im not sure on that point

they are favourites, thats for sure, but im not sure if the team spirit is good enough

Bayern have lost Owen Hargreaves though. :o Depends on who they bring in. It's a shame that German football doesn't shown in the UK.

We get Italian and Spanish though 8)

There are good points and bad points about all the leagues though. Our Premiership is pretty awesome at its best, but then you get thrillers like Fulham vs Watford, without a shred of quality on display.

Which I like the Spanish league, it's all about attacking and goal scoring.

@Jigga Jigga: Our German League is a lot better than some European Leagues.

I think, the Top 5 of European Leagues are:
1. England
2. Spain
3. France
4. Germany
5. Portugal

on the last Place: Italy

It depends what you're judging it on. I think all round, the English Prem is best, Spanish has to be second best though, for overall brilliance. With Italy 3rd, it's a common view, but a right one I reckon.
