Alright, here's a quick review on the party...

We arrived to Vienna at about 18:30 CET. At first we went to the Gasometer to refresh some memories from last year :) Back then I drew a small tag on the wall in the name of the HSF :D It was still there, so I corrected it with the actual date :P
After a short dinner in the Donauplex, at about 21:00 we went to the Nachtschicht. The entry was "only" 12€, fortunately - I was expecting more. Inside we met Christiane and some other hungarian guys. It took a long waiting for Scooter, they started their set at 00:30.

About the performace... it was not bad, but far from a concert feeling. The Scooter tracks rocked big time as always, we were smashing up the place for those :twisted: But the rest was kind of cheap house and trance stuff, which I don't like. Except for some classics e.g. Lethal Industry, Breate or Greece 2000. The set was 2 hours long, Michael did a perfect mix, he only made one mistake, but corrected it in no time. He's got talent in DJing :)

About "the incredible MC H.P."... we'll I'm sorry to say this, but H.P. sucked. At the Scooter tracks, it was perfect, just like a concert, but during the DJ act, oh my... at first, he was reading all of his shouts from paper, which annoyed me very much - all you could see is that he's looking down on the deck and speaking into the mic. It just sucked, I was really disappointed by that :| And his shouts were also not so skilled, only a few words and some 4-liner stuff. Most taken from old(er) Scooter tracks: "I ritz-bitz", "Bo shalak", "Hop on the spot" etc. and some Public Enemy raps. I expected something like a real MC, who spits the rhymes on 512 beats without stopping. Instead of that I got about 20 minutes of MC in a 2-hour set... well, that's life.
He gave the crowd a good feeling though. It was only the reading thing that really annoyed us.

We stayed until closing hours, went for a short "sightseeing" in the morning and went home to Hungary at 11:00. The end :P

Maybe not a lot of people knew about the Autograph session?

@Imre - thanks for your report - nice picture of you guys :)

I also heard about the reading from others who had been to previous gigs

Nice to go back to the Gasometer :) (nice memories - but boy was it cold that night!). When ever I go to Hamburg I must admit I always go past The Docks for the memories :)
