Just 3 words needed .... SCOOTER ARE BACK !!!!

I dont want this to be a duplicate thread of reviews of TUAO, but after 3/4 years of the same old Scooter, I felt it within myself to post my feelings about TUAO.

No disrespect to Jay and the 3rd Chapter, but I think Michael and Mantas have brought some freshness to the group and some new ideas. Whilst some of the tracks are similiar (United Vibe similiar to Rock Bottom), for me there is still a certain uniqueness and freshness about it.

Some of the hooks and breakdowns (Especially in the middle of Imaginary Battle when it sounds like a Puff Daddy hook) sounds absolutely amazing and its the first album in a long time where I have truly been blown away.

Given, they have sampled again (Prodigy's Smack My Bitch Up and Blur's Song 2 on DTFHC) but again it sounds great and goes together well.

Nikk has contributed some fantastic vocals (similiar to Jigga Jigga but fresh) and some of the melodies on her tracks are outstanding. East Sands Anthem intro is simply superb (If that is Nikk, then she should do more classical songs 'cause she could be huge), and Rattys Revenge reminds me of Simple Minds : Belfast Child melody.

I know Scooter cannot please EVERYONE, and TUAO will get it's fair share of haters (as I have also been very critical in the past), but its definetly a return to form for the boys and I sincerely hope they tour some of this material. A tour featuring some of these stand out tracks, plus some the best of the 1st/2nd/3rd chapter material would be an AWESOME show and if the 4th Chapter is to be the last in the Scooter story, then it would be a fitting tribute to them.

So there we have it, TUAO rocks and I cant stop listening to it. For those who managed to get in fast at Virginmega.fr, enjoy the album and play it loud. For those who didn't, try and hold on to your excitement until Feb 9th. Trust me, it will be worth the wait!

But if you compare the reactions of the people after hearing the samples of "WGTLLN" the first time with the reactions of "TUAO" aii also have the feeling that here in the forum is a much better atmosphere & the most are more pleased with the new album....

Well, we will see when everyone has the album... sure there will be some people who won't like the album. Perhaps me, too? ;)

yeah - thats really a little bit strange because normally there were many fights after the presentation of new stuff because there've always been many different opinions about it! But at the moment nearly everyone seems to love the SHI.T THAT KILLED ELVIS PRODUCED BY THE 3 LORDS

3 words are more like Scooter are dead. they should get rid of that rediculous real drums(mastered the worst possible way) and Mr Mantas(no disrespect for him , but he just doesnt fit in the band).

I can't agree with you more, Sandra. It's great that "Scooter is back" for a lot of people but for me they never "left" I've always liked what they did since the first time I heard them. But yeah it is great that the positive vibe has come back to the forums. I actually enjoy reading them now although I'm bummed that I haven't heard the album yet. Can't wait for the release!

Call me cynical but I feel this may just be the 'honeymoon' period. However, I hated WGTLLN on first listening. -shrugs-

Of course, I haven't heard the album yet.

Could be, but I had the same think like you. I didn't like WGTLLN so much when I first listened to it. And now, I do like this album after listening it for the first time (or is it the 13th time now?). But you seriously gotta hear it, then you'll be convinced that it's a good album.
