I do very strongly believe that people who produce music should be paid for it just as much anyone in any other job should be paid for what they do

you should tell scooter about paying people produced music!
respecting "copyright of other artists songs" is the keyword
PASH-A should claim scooter for illegal ripping

so now Pash-A is not a "kid" but an artist who should sue Scooter?

Until a short while ago I thought Pash-A was a "normal" member of this forum (whatever one of those is) in the past couple of hours I have been told he /she is a kid, now the suggestion that he / she has been ripped off by Scooter??

Seems like there was more to our Pash-A than I ever realised!

I agree in so much as its whoever put it on the internet that should get the real shit!

And I don't think Pash-A sat with his mouth shut - I guess as soon as he had it he could not resist the temptation to tell others that he had it, so of course they asked him.

Well,Sandra...
We are all Scooter fans, you know :)
And I think you,as one of the most respected members here could have a talk with Seba ;)

Anyways,we all make mistakes,right?

I'm sure he learned his lesson. And he's a bit worried i must say :)

I have never spoken to Pash-A myself so no nothing about him apart for his posts on the forum, which are often informative, but yes I agree we all make mistakes.

I think Sebastian will read what is written here in the morning - but I think he has to follow guidance from Kontor and people he works with not me

all right - it wasn't a link I deleted - it was the file name that Pash-A posted that I deleted

BTW - I don't see this reference to "being a kid" is relevent - is there an age at which things are allowed and then suddenly not? - I try to bring my kids up to know what is right and wrong :?

please define "a kid" - are we talking about an age of responsibility - an age to know right from wrong - an age below which it is ok to do as you please? - sorry Authist but you are sort pissing off the parent in me who hope to teach "kids" what to do from an early age - not to expect them to hide behind the label - and I suspect if Pash-A has anything about him he would find it somewhat insulting that he is dismissed as "just a kid" unless he wanted to use this to evade responsibilty?

BTW - how old is he / she 12?

Wow, i couldnt imagine how could you can be!
Downloading mp3's are not a big deal, there is so much real crime in the world, stay on earth!
It is a crime that people for downloading mp3's in a few years have to go in jail and murders get free if they have a good psycho-doctor!
Hmm...maybe we should all say in the future: "I downloaded illegal music cause i had a bad childhood!"

P.S.: If u all want that on your T-Shirt, contact me!
In 2012 the criminals will say: "I've downloaded illegal music because i had a bad childhood!" :(

so wheres the line between not a big deal and real crime - where is the line?

If I go into a shop and take a bar of chocolate is it not a big deal - maybe a gold watch is a crime?

Its one thing to steal music from smaller artists. But from artists like scooter, who cares honestly?

Wow, I think this is the first post I've ever seen from the guy that designs Scootertechno.com, dude...you do awesome design work, I wish I could design like that.

You know what, if anyone should be hit with legal papers...it should be the site that hosted the file, the person who posted the song on the hosted site (someone who has access to singles before they are released). They are responsible for the couple of thousand dollars you are losing from illegal mp3 downloads.

One thing I don't get, I can see banning the ip of the member, but legal actions is going pretty crazy. Scooter is a million dollar musical group, Pasha is probably some regular guy with a regular job that brings in not even a millionth of what Scooter makes off of fashion wear, concerts, tv appearances, and cds and mp3 download that are legal.

I guarantee you Wizardoftheword is Pasha, so what did banning his name even do.
Shout-outs go to: SLK, Hard C. Pusher, Soul Train, Dream Guardians, Deepforces, Ic3m4n, Trance-Atlantic, and N.E.O.N. Project. Thank you for your supports and feedback.

I don't think that Pasha-a could have been in ANYWAY... THE ONE on earth that could have gotten the promo single the first in the universe. He might not even have it. People had it before him, that's just a fact.

Should the members asking for the link get banned too ? This would be more fair I reckon since they might not have bought the single (?). If you think this way, you could ban us all.
Some of us are out of patience, we're real fans, and we hang out on this forum to get the lastest informations, I'm sure we're by far a majority of people BUYING the official releases !
I don't think people would hang for hours on there only to get some link while 100s of jerks would spread it on eMule two weeks later.

I've heard and downloaded that "illegal" version myself and it will NOT go away from my computer, anyway the single is pre-ordered, can't wait to get it :D Would you ban me ? You would get to ban half of this forum ;)

I personally think it's a little hard to get to sue a young excited fan that might be a student, this news would be spread around "Scooter sued a fan that posted on the forum". I think banning is enough.

You should get your lawer to sue and find who spreads Scooter on Peer to Peer, that would be more fair, and less accusing than banning one single member on this forum. He might have been too much excited he couldn't get his mouth shut, that's a fact. But I tell it again, this is nothing compaired to the shitheads spreading the whole albums around for free on eMule or Donkey or that crap stuff, you know ?
I hope our opinions will be read.
