Man kann es aber auch echt übertreiben! :roll:
Es ist ja schon schlimm genug das bald sämtliche demokratischen Datenschutz-rechtlichen Grundrechte abgeschafft werden wegen der dummen Industrie, daher sollte wenigstens in einem Forum noch eine normale Athmosphäre herrschen!

Its always been difficult to say exactly what is and isn't allowed. A lot of the Youtube links here have been of TV performances, which have been freely available to people on TV, or poor quality links

But its always been clear that MP3 links are not allowed

Yes that is right! He didn't put that promo on the internet! It was already released by a release group and posted on various websites around the internet! He is/was 1 of a few 1000 people who already had that promo at that moment he was posting the link. You have to sue a few thousand people if you sue him! Or better sue the release group, because they are the ones who put that originally on the internet!

I don't understand one thing: PM is a Private Message between two members... so it's a private talk and normally it's not allowed, that a 3rd person read that... but maybe it's allowed here that the Admin reads PMs...

I have had this debate so many times before here - but ripping the audio from a Youtube video is not going to give you the same quality as an MP3, and I do agree with your last line Authist :wink:

Why the panic right now and not at anytime in the past?I'm sure this is not the only example of illegal download.

But I think that even this is nonsense, people who plan to buy the single, will do it anyway, so banning this member doesn't change anything, getting to the link isn't probably hard for those who know how to do it.
